Heard Vaders side. Thought it was genuine at first, but the more i hear other peoples stories who were there, Vader was obviously trying to downplay it. It doesn’t matter how tough you are, theres always someone out there who is tougher and badder than you are and they can kick your a$$. Thats goes for everyone.

His entire face wouldn't swell like that off a single or even a few blows. Swelling generally travels to one side of the face an generally only happens instantly it you break your nose an blow it. This dude is full of shit. 1 "very good" punch from a sick guy wouldn't have that effect. Sorry

How is that?He slapped a 215 pound dude so hard it knocked him off his feet and put him out.Then Vader let him get a punch in and that's when Paul started just tossing punches so Vader tackled him to the ground.That is when I think it was Haku pulled Vader off Paul then Paul got that sucker punch in and a couple kicks.Love them both but really Vader won because he knocked Paul out with one shot everything after that was just shenanigans.

Now, 3 different versions of the Vader, Paul Orndorff incident! Tony Shovani states that Orndorff was not wearing flip-flops and that he was wearing his wrestling boots! Now, David Penzer is stating that Orndorff was wearing flip-flops!? Then, Tony Shovani states that Vader pushed Orndorff, so Orndorff punched him once and then started kicking his head in! But then Vader states, that he slapped Orndorff so hard, that Orndorff went down and then got back up and hit him several times until he went down! Three different versions and probably even more from other employees!

I believe a combination of the Kevin Sullivan and Vader versions. Vader probably knocked the hell out of Paul stuffed him into a big box as Sullivan said and then in the rematch let Orndorff havensome free shots. makes more since than a one armed old man beating a 400 lber straight up.

Pretty sure Terry Shovani didn't say Paul was wearing boots. If I remember correctly he was about to say Paul put the boots to him but changed what he was saying mid sentence. That doesn't mean he was wearing boots.

woa woa woa! just because someone got smashed and the face and damaged was doesn't doesn't mean for a second that he "hurt" the guy ! this is the guy that had his eyeball out of his socket pushed it in and kept doing the match.Paul hit him and Vader said the punch wasn't shit,did it do damage yes ,but it doesn't mean he was hurt :-) ! Think of a guy tough like a Stan Hansen you could've torn half his face off and he still rip someone in half laughing and drinking beer after ! But same thing when Paul "faught"Tony Atlas when they were riding together ,Tony got the upper hand then Paul got pissed and tried to bite Tony's ear off . Tony got off, fight stopped ,Tony went to the hospital for a tetanus shot because he knew it wouldve got infected.He showed up at the venue and Paul was chanting to the boys that he faught Tony and put him in the hospital.

Bullshit. Orndorff was a legit tough guy. Kicked Vader's ass and kicked Atlas's ass. Witnesses to both fights confirm this. And I'm not saying Vader or Atlas aren't tough guys, but they weren't tougher than the Brandon Bull that day.

I have heard my fill of this story. Let’s just look at the facts that can’t be embellished Vader is 400 lbs or more and is in his prime orendorf is past his prime no longer wrestling and he has a bum arm. I think if Vader was at the point of wanting to destroy Paul he would have but what kind of d bag would go all out in this situation? I don’t think he expected Paul to go nuts on him but I am certain if Vader truly wanted to he could have choked Paul out and put those 400 lbs to use. But neither person wanted to fight and the fact that it’s being called a fight is ridiculous there was no bad blood between these guys to start with and that really is the difference between a fight or a disagreement that went past words.

Vader said he let Orndorff hit him. Penzer did not see what actually went on. Vader was pissed because he just returned from a photo shoot. What Vader's face looked like after getting smacked a few times. Flip flops, who cares? Vader was afraid he was getting fired. Orndorff was in no danger of being fired, all they cared about was the shoot interview. I can't tell who is lying if anyone including Vader.

Sorry but I still believe Vader's side of this. Orndorff God love him has been milking this story to get shoot interview money for years. I've listened to and or watched a lot of shoots from most who was there and not one person has said they saw Vader punching Orndorff, which fits perfectly with Vader's contention that he didn't fight back because he would have been fired. Do you really think a pissed off Leon White wouldn't tear him in half or at least do significant damage? He slapped Paul, Paul went down, came to, and then Vader let him have a couple freebie punches because he felt bad. The damage to Vader's face likely came after when Paul was kicking him while he was down.

@@blake7871 I think we have to take into account the political nature of this a lot of people didn't like Vader including Bischoff and Orndorff and probably most of the production staff and other wrestlers. Vader knew this also which was why he knew he would get fired if he really wanted to hurt Orndorff.. this story is a real klusterfuk and I don't know if we will ever really know the truth

Who knows? it's not about Vader or Orndorff; like Vince McMahon is a master manipulator, so was Eric Bischoff. Everybody else, being stooges would have concurred with Paul's story [to ruin Vader] at Bischoff's command. If he was really that little and feeble, I just can't see Vader being what he was at that time getting the crap kicked out of him unless he was sandbagging, but nevertheless, I suppose stranger things have happened, meaning Paul's side could be true, but I'm not buying it completely.

From where I'm sitting, my guess is that Paul breathed a big sigh of relief that Meng broke up the fight. Had the fight been allowed to continue, given Paul's bad arm, I think Vader would have easily gone over that night.
