The brightest point of Graham Taylor era football, and a guy who played in a role which was unusual at the time as a kind of attacking midfield goalscorer. I've only ever really seen Tim Cahill or perhaps Fellani play in a similar slot.

Remember meeting him in a local newsagent on the way to school the start of the new season after world cup 90. He played for villa and was driving a sporty rover as they were one of the local sponsors. Unbelievable now to think that players who don't make 90 minutes a season have mansions and super cars.
