Noteworthy to add: I am a " Mr David Ruffin" fan since my elementary years and even during the present time being a senior citizen. The Temptations music never ages. Thank you Mrs Ruffin for being a very important part of Mr David Ruffin's life: like him you are unforgettable and your offspring. The demands for traveling with the Band intensified, the confrontation with The Chick on the Side, Baby Mama, that's, did NOT help the situation at all. Just Trauma added to his career problems, the 1st wife Mrs Sandra Ruffin never brought neither confusion nor chaos into Mr David Eli Ruffin's life and she did an wonderful job raising her daughters to have family values, but The Baby Mama and her offspring are a disgrace, both of them long after Mr David Eli Ruffin's death have made many efforts to make money off his famous name in one way or another, especially by trying to trash his reputation.

Kay: Fights fights is correct. Eddie & Paul came from the Primes. Otis, Melvin, & Al came from the Distants. In actuality, David had been doing his own thing (singing in Gospel groups, other groups, and recording on his own). In reality, folks have to realize that David was his own demon; there were times he wouldn't show up for shows (high, drunk, and in one case took off to see Dean Martin's daughter do a show). He was let go because of selfishness and ego ( "bigger than the group").

WRONG!!!! Otis was the DEMON in the group. HE was the reason Paul went down, because he treated Paul like shit. David had his faults, but HE was the reason the group went to the top. Until David came in, no one knew of the Temptations. 'My Girl' comes out, who's singing? DAVID, that's who!! The man WAS the Temptations, then Eddie and Paul. Otis couldn't sing worth shit. 'No one's coming to see Otis!', DAVID WAS RIGHT! Big mistake when they let David go. And if David was such a big distraction, why did the group BRING HIM BACK after Dennis Edwards joined??? Dennis says this himself in an interview here on youtube! So don't come on here thinking you know something and telling ALTERNATIVE facts!!

+the professor, cut the crap now.......Paul and Eddi shared the lead of the group until David joined the group AND SMOKEY ROBINSON WROTE THE SONG "MY GIRL" AND GAVE IT TO DAVID INSTEAD OF PAUL, after that Paul finds that most of the songs were written for David as lead and he was pushed to the back as harmony..........Otis did not write the songs for the group......It was Smokey Robinson or Norman Whitfield and Barrett Strong.......So it was Motown who treated Paul like shit.......IF the song "MY GIRL" was given to Paul Williams instead of David, it would still be a hit for the group, because Paul can sing. David first begged Otis to hire him as their tenor every chance he got, because he said that THE TEMPTS WERE POPULAR (AND OF COURSE HIS SOLO CAREER WAS GOING NOWHERE).....But there was no vacancy until Al Bryant hit Paul in his face with a bottle, cutting Paul in his face, and was fired by Otis FOR HIS ACTION.......After David was fired, he said that he was sorry and asked to be taken back, he was then given a sceond chance by Otis, and he blew it......When he forgot to turn up for the show......The Show.....Which was to be his WELCOME BACK NIGHT. And the group realized that his drugs habit was controlling him and as such he was just too unreliable.......In 2015, the Tempts had a show in Adeline Texas and Otis got a standing ovation in a sold-out concert........So go suck on a lollipop
