Llevo viendo y escuchando guitarristas clásicos más de treinta años. Nadie puede compararse con David Russell. Además de ser el más brillante, es de una humildad que llama la atención. Para mí es un ejemplo a seguir a todos los niveles.

An old vinyl recording of this suite by the wonderful pianist, Dinu Lipati, was my fondest remembrance. I never dreamt that anyone would come up with a convincing performance of it on guitar. Now, 30 years later, somebody has. I should have suspected it would be David Russell.

I do find that interesting. It reminds me of the tertiary minuet and trio and I've also seen it done with gavottes in bachs other works
