David Ryan Harris plays 'Yesterday Shutting Down' with his phenom of a band, featuring Jacob Luttrell on keys and vocals, Isaiah Sharkey on Electric Guitar, Terence Clark on Drums, Sean Hurley on Bass, Nikki Flores, Tiffany Palmer, and Carlos Ricketts on BGVs, Rashawn Ross on Trumpet, Bob Reynolds on Saxophone (AKA the B*itch Whistle), and featuring special guest John Mayer on Electric Guitar. This closed out night two of David's shows at the Hotel Cafe on 2/4/2020.
I do not claim any copyright to this music or the performers. All copyrights are property of their respective performers, labels, publishers, etc.
The video skips right after Mayer's solo because my camera only records 15 minute videos and I didn't want it to cut off at a more important point. :)

I think he is feeling lucky to be there, listening to that awesome shit and also being on stage to add to it a little bit. I feel he would die not having a guitar in his hand listening to this as an audience member :). I think John Mayer is just a cool guy that knows everyone and they want him there but he's like a bit shy until someone tells him to let it rip - unless it's his own show. The man is a legend already but - and I made another comment like this just now but - like Clapton said, he doesn't really know it yet, or acknowledges it. We haven't seen the best of John Mayer yet in 2020 I think and that's saying a fucking lot coming from Room for Squares.

This jam is no bullshit one of the best I have experienced and I grew up playing classical music and have studied theory and practical musical application my entire life. The mood and cadence to each musician is spot on. Their arrangements and improvisations are all tasteful and noone tries to square up or outdo their bandmates. Such beautiful work through and through. Wish i was there in person but this video certainly does their performance justice!

For the music Nerds, at 6:25 he uses the same lyrics/melody as a section of the song "Good To Your Earhole" by Funkadelic off their 1975 album "Let's Take It T The Stage" (which is also sampled in the song "Boogieman" by Childish Gambino off the album "Awaken My Love")

This is some of the best music I’ve heard in a while. The stage is filled with incredible musicians. The saxophonist. Mayer and David Ryan, the keyboardist!, Sharkie and the drummer!! I’ve listened to this about 6 times and I have a feeling I’ll continue to listen in to it for the foreseeable future
