intresting point ,,,in the wake of the computor internet revolution ,,, the future realy belongs to us now ,,, thus,, forcing "big names" to "hit the road" no longer able to rely on Record sales or "expensive Studio investments" to make money ,,,or get noticed !! if he is playing ":Blues"" maybe its where the money is ,,maybe he likes it ? nevertheless ,, i am sure he will always have a few R&B tunes in his pocket !!!

@speedy3426 I'm afraid his funk days are long behind him now. After all he is a "mature" man and will be 66 this year. He probably thinks he'd look a little silly hanging on to this genre and that it's better left up to the younger bucks to carry the torch. He has said that he's going back to his blues roots, which is the sound he grew up listening to. However, all that being said, he does have some tour dates this coming up with Marcus Miller and George Duke. Hope they come my way . . .
