I am 44 years old and my 2 favorite wrestlers of my lifetime were this man Dr D David Schultz and Bruiser Brody! Both made the business believable and were 100% pure badasses and trued legends, RIP to Frank and much respect to you Mr. SCHULTZ!!!

Well, you can start with his heroic (at least to rasslin’ fans) effort to try to preserve kayfabe on ABC’s 20/20 in 1984 & then work your way backwards from there. Schultz was a legitimate badass including even after his career ended as a bounty hunter.

His Stu impression has gotten better with age. I wish the Calgary chapter in his book was longer and I definitely didn't need to see entire passages lifted from other books like Pure Dynamite. Hoping someone brings back Herb Welch's shitty armpit headlock in 2018. Devon if you ever get to wrestle End-zo Amore please give him a shitty armpit headlock.

You did a great job with him Hannibal & I appreciate all of the work you do and your passion for the business. You should be working for a major promotion yourself. As for Dr. D I was always a fan, but out of sight and out of mind and since watching your shoot clips with him there is always a new Dr D clip on the side tab I have never seen before and now without a shadow of a doubt Dr D. has moved into my top 10. This Guy was way ahead of his time. This guy should have had a Hall of Fame career if he wasnt screwed over for that Stossel incident. He would have been money in the attitude era in any role. Could you imagine how good he would have been with Stone Cold as an adversary or an ally. Clearly WWE programmingis much to corny to have a role for Dr D seeing they have aborted the use and great need for manager types for so much talent that is not good on the stick, But ROH, NJPW & even Impact could use his entertainment value. David has a lot of fans that still pop for him. Set up a Twitter account for him Hannibal. He needs to know how many people love him

Yeah you find with all these wrestling shoots that the people in the business always use the exaggerated wrestling stats to describe each other (so Undertaker's 6ft 10, Big Show was over 500lbs, etc). I'm sure Davey Boy was closer to 250lb back in his prime.
@dirtydavie1
@dirtydavie1 6 жыл бұрын
When Davey Boy was in the fed in like 1995? IDK the year I remember he had some beaded dread action- and he was swollen-- he had an ability to put on mass big time-- Dynamite was always very thin- he never ever seemed to have any type of waistline... although I heard he would eat several big macs at a time?! but I bet Davey pushed 270-280 -? I think the good Dr. was just rollin in the interview- The Bull Dogs were straight Beast Mode in 1983- 1986 DK peaked like in 84-- man if they could have maintained for another 3 years - in the manner of their 1985 form--- that would have been the shitsz. zie's I have always speculated about a Bulldogs VS The Road Warriors Dream Match...
