I never had working for families when my kids were growing up and to be honest i wouldn't have used it as i didn't need it. I know people that use this just because it's there and they can, not because they need it. But there is a percentage of children that need this lunch program, not all home life for a percentage of these children is good, parents could be meth addicted, alcohol addicted etc. School lunches might be there only meal for the day and that does happen.

@firequeen78728 ай бұрын
I dont know, I had that too. Sausages and mince were poor people food then, bloody expensive now 😑 I feel sorry for kids now because I grew up without internet and cellphone - thank god, and they’re nothing but destructive for young people today. All it’s done is dehumanise them, and stop them interacting personally as they would have, so their confidence and basic social skills are lower too. Less and less kids have a mum cooking for them at home too, or at home after school for them, which is very important, and on top of that the highly processed foods people buy eat and feed their kids are really toxic, a lot of the time they’re doing that because everyone’s shattered and there isn’t some ne at home JUST focusing on the food and caring for the family, so overall I think my gen -78 had it a lot easier and a lot nicer and was more in line with basic humanity. That said I am really appalled at parents who do not feed their children properly. Kids come first. If you can’t stick to that rule as a parent then perhaps consider condoms and, if you really have to, a goldfish. Maybe.

I would and have gone without before my children would ever go without anything. Period. I cannot understand why and how there seems to be so many parents who do not feed their children. It is disgraceful and shameful. Baking can be expensive to get all the ingredients to start, but once you have them you can get far better value for money - because you can make many batches, with the added bonus that you know exactly what has gone into the kids food, and the kids and I always had fun making things together. As far as the sushi comments go it’s gotten a bit silly as it’s so cheap and easy to make. It’s easily one of the healthier items - it’s sugar free and high in nutrients especially if you’re adding meats like tuna so…

My reply is… that up till now, many people in the electorate had no idea about libertarian policies, and didn't really know Semour beyond his election antics, and retorts in the media. Now that everyone has had a chance to properly experience his nonsense, I don't think he will be sneaking back into such a position at the next election. I'm also thinking that the Nat’s (much like the Rep's in the US with the MAGA's) have hopefully realised how much ‘friendly fire’ damage these sorts of loose cannons can do, and will be a bit more circumspect of alliances in the future.
