David was from the valley in Arizona and I remember a local DJ said he talked to Daves mom to see how he was doing right after the news of Chris' death and he said, she told him, He's very broken up and is just staying in his room trying to deal with this, and knowing him probably will stay in his room for some time, this was a huge loss for him. I just remember thinking how sad it must be for him to be so upset that he couldn't come out of his room..

They didn’t mention that Spade implored Farley to get help, and this ultimately was the cause of Farley distancing himself (or vice versa, I’m not sure) from Spade. At the time of Chris’s death, he had a” different set of friends”, no doubt many enablers. He was clean for a while, but he was obviously in relapse during that last part of his life. Many think that final appearance in SNL did more harm than good. He was taking oxygen backstage just to get through those skits. And clearly he didn’t like being the “funny fat guy” anymore. The laughs just weren’t enough anymore. Like any drug, it was ultimately destructive.

See, you can do the right thing. This is a sad story but it's a good one and you need to keep this sort of thing in mind. Obviously and thankfully this is neither salacious nor prurient in nature. Stay the course and I think you'll have a bigger following than ever. Always remember that it is important to Enlighten people not to bring them down to the base level. Our baser instincts are not good and they should not be catered to under any circumstances. They need to be buried. We should always strive for the high ideal not for the low bass sexual material which debases all of us when it's outside of a proper context of a decent and loving marriage. Stay away from all that stuff. More like this and some of the other ones that I've given you praise for and I think you owe do well in terms of getting more people to ring that Bell.

@jaymiller6009 Жыл бұрын
He was a sad and lonely man. Put yourself in his shoes and if you really think about it, it’s easy to see how he went the way he did. Most of his male friends had no issues getting women and being in relationships. Chris didn’t have that option; mostly because of his physical appearance. As time went on, Chris earned a reputation as a mean drunk. With that sort of reputation, even women who could look past his physical appearance couldn’t ignore that part of him. He was 33 and probably never experienced being romantically loved by someone. I suspect paying for love by the hour probably did more harm to his mental health than good. It’s tough to say how his life might have gone if he had a special woman in his life. Was his loneliness the reason for his substance abuse? Would he have set all that stuff aside and straightened out if a woman truly loved him and told him to quit so that he could be a responsible husband and a father? Who knows? Why speaks volumes is that none of those closest to him were surprised by his demise. Saddened, yes. Shocked, no. Another sad story of a person gone way too soon.

Spade is absolutely no "victim" of Farley. David's story depicts Chris as a rampaging lunatic who went into fits of jealous rage over Rob Lowe. I find that very hard to believe. Rather, Spade's snarky little attitude is likely catalyst that sent Chris to the edge after numerous remarks.. David is by no means this kind caring guy he says he is. He is a little snarky smart mouth who skipped out on Farley's funeral because he is selfish. Farley would have wanted him there. I don't know why. But, that is Chris. Being, a fan of Chris, I have seen numerous documentary style programs where people describe what Chris was like. Few describe Chris the way that Spade does. The only ones who do seem to be very sympathetic to Spade are celebrity friends of Spade. My bet is David is simply trying to protect his image by not looking like a complete jerk for bailing on Chris. I don't buy it. It was just too emotional for Spade that he couldn't handle it. Please. That sounds like such a lie.. The guy just absolutely trashed Eddie Murphy. Could about imagine what he was saying about Farley too. Yeah. Don't buy "David's Version" at all.
