I don't think they're friends, he just owes him, and feels obliged. People are lying when they say they're "not political". It's a polite way to not discuss something that could cost you a lot of money if you say the wrong things. No one is really friends with Dennis Miller anymore. Maga made that bed. It made it with hatred, bitterness, and ignorance, and anyone who helped make it will lay in it forever. Nothing will be forgiven. They might as well go all in, because they're pariahs in decent society now.

It was kind of like Norm calling out O.J. and Michael Jackson but spread around more evenly. @@Eanicus @Eanicus JonBenet was a child beauty queen. She was killed in her basement and they never caught the killer. It was a crime that shocked the nation. Spade's joke was difficult because the crime was still fresh in everyone's mind and she was a child. I think he was sort of making fun of beauty pageant for kids, of how ridiculous they are and maybe the sexualization of children. Most comics would stay away from something so dark but he went there, in the 1990s. 😨 Thus the admiration from Anthony.

I always thought that Anthony Jeselnik has a similar style to Jimmy Carr, in a way that he presents one-liners or short one time stories where the jokes themselves are separate and the entire act isn't connected to one story that just builds and builds from joke to joke. I like it. Does that make sense?

Yeah I know what you mean. They both have a very similar style of comedy, both in material and delivery. And they both really ‘go there’ in terms of their dirty but hilarious one-liners. Jimmy’s pacing is a bit quicker whereas Anthony takes a little longer to deliver each joke.

In 2008 my Automotive class took a senior trip to the LA Auto show. David Spade and Henry Winkler both just happened to be attending the auto show as well. My cousin, our friend who was a girl, and I spotted them eating lunch so we waited until they were done eating as to not be rude. I asked if we could get a picture with David Spade and he said yes. I asked Henry Winkler if he would take the picture of us, not knowing until I got home and told my Aunt Henry Winkler was supposed to be there too. She pulled up a current picture of him and I was really embarrassed that I thought he was David Spade's manager or something. They both were really nice and probably had a good laugh about it later.

TK W I have always felt that Anthony sounds like he went to an American International school in Europe. He has this sort of almost perfect American accent but some European affect to it. Weird...

@@somethingsomethingusername802 He got a degree for reading? Damn I should have done that! I have been reading for over 40yrs now and NADA, not one qualification for it. A Bsc in Applied Computing and a Bachelor of Egineering but not one credit for the untold amount of literature I have read, shameful.

Yeah so many comedians have ruined themselves by getting on the hate Trump bandwagon. When the point of the "joke" is to spread a political ideology rather than be funny its not............funny. Also its basically illegal to be a Republican these days. I'm not political but you have to admit there is an obvious bias. Think about if someone criticized Biden or Clinton the way people do Trump, you'd be called a Nazi, sexist, racist and everything else.

Jeselnik was very similar on rogans podcast. I imagine for one that he looks up to guys who have changed the industry and comedians talk to each other differently

"Welcome to the seance" jokes about a sexualized child "tastefully done", This is not edgy. It's gross when you know what he's really into. His brother too. The creepy af Instagrams he's done this year are disturbing. Talk about SYMBOLISM!
