I cannot understand why this beautiful music was never released. I would definitely buy it, as would many other fans of David Sylvian's work. It is timeless.

I guess this is from the mid 1980's, a soundtrack to a Japanese film that he was comissioned to make, that also included the excellent "Steel Cathedrals"? I can only imagine that Steve Jansen had something to do with this song, if only as a brotherly presence.
@DonHaka5 жыл бұрын
he did pretty much play drums on all of Sylvians solo albums so its more than a possibility.

It's precisely from 1985 Japan only DVD "Preparations for a Journey". Features Steve Jansen on drums and percussions, Ryuichi Sakamoto on keyboards and Masami Tsuchiya on guitar.

Ironic, I struggle with so so much solo DS material, BLEMISH,,, I was ready jump in ff a Bridge in Gerona, only time going see DS I had to leave I think Dead Bees on a Cake and Brilliant Trees, and one, maybe Damage +? With Rob F, is relaxing as well as uplifting, this is Meaningless to me
