Yes. I bumped into him two months ago in a store in Boston. He remembered me from the previous time....a good two years prior, where I'd bumped into him in a book store in Cambridge. A really sweet guy and fantastic artist.

I was lucky enough to see David twice on the world is everything tour - he surpassed everything I had imagined. He is so eloquent, intelligent, talented and wonderful (and that voice mmmmm) He has my upmost respect now and always. Two evenings I will never forget!

Finally Steven Jansen at 6:30. Normally I hate jazz drumming but this is great! Not showing off but just so interesting and tuneful.

The Nine horses CD is superb (of which this song is from) ...the best of the best...like the perfect sequel to Brilliant Trees...it seemed to slip into the world without much ceremony, and you have to find it at David's web site...I could not find it on Amazon....

great vid. he has the best voice in the universe. he has moved me to tears for years. i love his music so much and it's amazing to finally see all this footage since i've been i/net deprived for months. thinking it may be my only chance to see him, i flew to lisbon (scraped up all me pennies to get there) and it was cancelled. it's been a dream for 25 years and just didn't come off. broke my heart. please come to australia some time xxx

And thank god David does his own thing otherwise we would have an industry full of Simon Cowell prodiges.Another commendable artists are Bill Nelson and Andy Partridge.

Sylvian is the most piss poor promoted artist in the US. He is one of the best of our time for Christ sake! Why aren't these concerts commercially available??? It is so wrong!!!

He was the lead singer of Japan, once one of the most successful pop bands, and considered by many as a precursor to Duran Duran, etc. David Sylvian has had that kind of success, and must have found it profoundly empty and shallow; how could it be otherwise, given his extremely high taste and intellect. I guess he has had enough of being a commercially successful pop star earning money from armies of teenies, and decided to become a true musician and artist instead.
