I love how different 2008 is with spoilers. David and Catherine are talking about all sorts of details about the episodes before they're released, whereas nowadays actors are always tight lipped about the content they're in.

that's 2008 for you, all the borderline homophobic jokes and talking about your guest naked seriously gives me the ick but it was 100% acceptable by the mainstream at the time. I'd like to think we've majorly progressed but there's a somewhat recent radio interview with David, (don't know her name unfortunately) where the interviewer starts asking David about whether he cosplays as the doctor to have sex with his wife, he has 5 kids AND Georgia's own dad was also the doctor, serious lack of boundaries and respect for his personal life.

Is it a British thing or something? But what is that bit where he said, 'I hate to see you naked because you're too skinny,' or the comments about 'senile' Michael Douglas? It wasn't provocative or smart. And I'm pretty sure he meant it to be, but these remarks in bad taste only reveal his lack of manners and create secondhand embarrassment. If I were on the show's PR team, I would have deleted this interview and advised him to take some lessons from Graham Norton.
