I'm very convinced that a lot the plot of series 2 was inspired by David Tennant and Michal Sheen's real life friendship and, naturally, their exaggerated selves in 'Staged'. Clearly the writers saw this and realized they could work this into Crowley and Aziraphale.

Actor here - I appreciate your comment, but I just want to bring in a little addendum: *some* money is definitely needed, if you want a series or movie of high (or even average) production value - meaning: proper sets, good props, well-made costumes, well-corresponding make-up, etc. -and have it made by people who’ll actually be able to pay their bills and put food on the table ❤️ So I get where you’re coming from and I appreciate it, but yeah, a certain amount of money is def. needed ❤️

I cringed so much at how the interviewers pronounced the characters’ names. It made it difficult o listen to from second hand embarrassment. You don’t even have to watch the show to find out the pronunciations!!
