In the build up I really was on team Tua, I felt quite proud as a New Zealander of David going the distance with Lennox. I’m not sure what the strategy was but at the time, I really felt Tua was being disrespected, I know it’s marketing. Anyway, whole family is round the TV, sole guy going Tuas gonna win, there’s like 12 of us, we borrowed a sky box. After round 1, David came out looking prime, proved he’s just a machine. Was a great night for NZ boxing, probably won’t see anything like that again. I think that was NZs Tyson vs Hollifeild moment, you new where you were for both those fights, Epic.

Yea that was brutal, I'd still be bothered by it too.....I'm still bothered by the ass whooping my mom gave me when I was 7. It doesn't take away from your accomplishments......

You did yourself proud bro, you were against a once in a generation athlete! Nothing or no one would have beaten David that night, I mean no disrespect cuz but all of the HW division at that point of time wouldn’t cope with the uso!

Wonder if you would have to that type of humbleness without the lesson taught by Tua. Blood sport need to do better.
