This 'demo' is TIGHT. Think I might prefer it over the released version. It has a raw quality to it!

David Bowie was the greatest. I cry when I listen to The Rise and Fall of ZIggy Stardust. This track just makes me think of being 8 years old again, love this version, Nile Rodgers and SRV...just other world. Love you man xxx

God, I love it. I miss him soooo much and this give me a bittersweet feeling but I really enjoy it. His voice makes me smile every time and it doesn't matter the rhythm, I always want to dance when I listen to him. Just perfect. ♡

So in love with this, after hearing Let's Dance too many times since our gorgeous man died, cause it seems to be the only song most people know of Bowie's, this is so fabulous and fresh. Thank you so much for sharing this with us x

Even as a demo this song was alredy amazing. While it was the beginning of what many consider his worst era, Let's Dance was a good record and had some great work on it.
@daninusa52974 жыл бұрын
No one says that. Only pretentious band wagonners.
@Klui_4 жыл бұрын
@@daninusa5297 I mean, most oh his fans agree, and even Bowie himself called Tonight and NLMD his worst work. Personally I like it, sure, it isn't on par with his 70s, 90s and 00s input, but it's still great work.

@@Klui_ What?? Who the fuck said tonight was one of his worst albums? It's as good as let's dance! This is the first time I've heard this. I get the NLMD hate however
@Klui_3 жыл бұрын
@@garrold7123 Honestly I'm really shocked to hear that, Tonight hate was something I saw since I started getting into Bowie years ago, and it's still a sentiment I hear to this day. Personally, again, I think it's a fine album, but I wouldn't put it on the same level as most of his work, including Let's Dance (this is my opinion).

Males me understand "why" i - more than usually - became so very sad, sad....sad when i heard Mr.D. Bowie had cancer, and the cancer tok life. And, his last lp is great, one of his best! And, heavy lyrics, good songs! Very good singing! As it always is/was with David Bowie.

Bowie was so eager to lay down the track that a makeshift band made up of local musicians was formed specifically for this recording of "Let's Dance"; the identities of the drummer and second guitarist on the recording are still unknown. ("If you played 2nd guitar or drums let us know who you are," Rodgers added.)

A super demo version, now it should be on the radio all over the world if it was supposed to be a radio edit. 😊 🌞 🌟 🍀 What a coincidence, just unboxed Bowie's Loving the Alien boxset including Let's Dance on the album and a single version, and also a live duet with Tina Turner, but not that demo...
