It's easier to see what he's doing when he plays full speed. Just keep a ghost note going so you can jump back in if you lose a note.

This is amazing! I'm a beginner and never really played an instrument before but this tutorial was so clear and perfect to follow along that I could play in full speed and kind of automatically within about 40 minutes. Wow. It's so much fun once you notice that your hands and ears are faster than your brain :D I love it :) Thank you!

great video love your notation system, i think i always try to run before i can walk, love how you go into composition a bit afterwards, it gives people something to aim for. i might give this a go this weekend, i often get bored of playing the same patterns and end up slowing right down

Great tutorial! Any advice for purchasing a first hand pan, I like the darker more Egyptian sounding scales like an F2 low Pygmy… but looking for a cheaper one to begin with. All suggestions welcome - scales, brands etc. Thanks 🙏🏼☺️

Dont buy offline seek out a teacher who can point you to someone as there are lots of them online that arent good quality.. they arent cheap either about 1300 GBP in uk depends where your from but if it's cheap it wont be good, get a teacher to help you get one or see if you can rent one for a bit 😁✌

At only lesson 2, I realize just how slow of a learner I am when it comes to music. I now understand what it must of been like for certain math students in my class. Also, practicing on an Amara D Handpan and a, finding that it doesn’t yield the same beautiful sounds from the chord set of that from the teacher here. What chord set is the Handpan in the video?

May i ask. Im a guitarist and a pianist trying to learn how to play correctly the handpan. when i try to play I do realize that my left hand is a bit weak and sloppy (not used to these kind of hand movements) How can I work on that properly?
