Font was the first band where I got to see them perform an album's worth of material live before they put it to tape. Their recent album is cool and all, but their live energy is just pure chaotic bliss. Genuinely unmatched, absolutely recommend catching them if anyone gets the chance

New to you, great list but it is very like most other critics lists, would be great to see something different or have a better idea of what you are into based on your picks, like if you see mine 75% of the albums are rock or indie, I only have maybe 5 of these in my top 50 although I listened to most and liked around half of them. My top 5 are in barely any critics lists but maybe being UK is part of that.

I find it disingenuous to present a list of the '50 best or top albums' when, in reality, it takes exposure to far more than that to confidently identify which albums deserve such a distinction. To even consider an album for such a list, I believe you need to listen to it at least 10 to 15 times over an extended period. Only then can you truly assess whether it stands above others. For me, album reviewers should resist volume and the urge to include albums simply because they appear on someone else's list. Instead, they should focus on the albums that genuinely move them, those that resonate deeply enough to make you want to return to them again and again.
