I love this series of you going through your ocarina collection! I'd like to make a suggestion; during the segment where you play the scales on each ocarina to compare tone, it would be so helpful for those of us who don't necessarily have a great ear for music put a little bit of text on screen to say what to listen for. Like when you wrote "this one is a dud" for the T-2F, that was helpful because I then paid attention to the squeaky high note. I can tell the ocarinas all have slightly different tone but if you could write something like "this one has particularly rich tone" or "I love the accuracy of the notes on this piece" it would help a layperson like myself know what to listen for. Thank you for considering and looking forward to more of your collection.

I bought my first twelve hole after having used a nine hole for years. I was looking forward to having two extra lower diatonic pitches, but I found they only produce the same pitch whether both are covered or just one is, regardless of which one hole is covered. That can't be right.

The subholes on the Aketa’s are interesting. The hole below the forefinger does look really uncomfy 😬😥. The 13 hole looks cool! 😃 I love the range of C ocarinas, but on some songs I really want a low G instead of playing up an octave.

It might be nitpicky, but you are pronouncing Aketa incorrectly, you say it like the dog breed Akita. The "e" in "Aketa" isn't pronounced as in "see", but as in "let".
