I’m a beginner barber and I’m trying to cut my own hair, I’ve been studying your videos and I got a question, with the #0.5 and the #1.5 guards do you blend guideline you’re working on all the way or do you stop around halfway? for example i notice you set your #1 guideline, do your blending then with the half you attack/blend what’s between the no guard open and the open #1. I just don’t know where you stop with the half. It may seem like simple and dumb question but this is the only part left of the fading process i have yet to understand 🙏 btw your videos have given me a great ton of information and inspiration

My guy! That’s a great question. Logically speaking we can say I go only half ways. But tbh you gota use your eyes and see how much work you actually got left. It’s very much situational but use the half way mark as a good indicator for where to stop when the lever is fully open
