Hi David, i am a barber for 30 years and own a shop for 22 years now. I use Gillette blades to shave as i think it’s less irritating on the skin and better results. I have been told by clients that using the safety blades is really not a shave. I don’t agree. I still use a straight rasor to outline and the rest with the gillette. What’s your opinion on this ? Great videos. I’m in Montreal Canada.

Thank you for your comments and I agree about using Gillette razors for certain parts of the haircuts, like the neck area and also I like using the when I do a skin fade. After passing the electric shaver, I like using a Gillette razor to clean it up even more.

@@DavidFalla theres no shot... the head of a gillette razor is way to expensive just to use it once and throw it away.

Is this good enough for selfcut skin fades at home for a beginner. BaByliss Multitrimmer Super X-metal 15-in-1 Im not sure if its only for beard, if so what is a good option for skin fades?
