Ha! I find myself inventing reasons to use it. I’ve always wanted one and now I want a milling machine too.

Hey David! My name is David too! I’ve been watching your videos since they started, and just bought my first moped a couple months ago. And thanks to you, moped army, treatland, and reddit I got that bad boy running! It doesnt run the best right now, but I make improvements every time I work on it. I appreciate your videos, man! Your humor when making mistakes makes me feel better about making 2000+ mistakes while starting out. Huge fan! Keep it up brother!!

Awesome David! I love to hear it. One of my favorite things about wrenching on mopeds is that if you make a mistake, it’s not the end of the world. You can usually reverse anything you may have messed up. There is a certain liberation in that. You can just go for it! Good luck on your new ped !

What is the difference between etch primer and regular primer?
@DavidFixesHisShit5 жыл бұрын
Etch primer will chemically etch the bare metal so that it sticks better and longer.

I think you should have left it in the original color because if you paint it again you loose value and it can’t ever be turned back to the original but you still did a nice paint job

Ugh, you make me ill Dave. You've got so much shit to fix your shit! I have a 77 and a 78 GARELLIs Gran Sports out in my garage. I have to wait until payday tomorrow, the 3rd just to buy a puller. I can't get the stator flywheel off to access my points. Maybe they need a good cleaning and I want to replace the condenser. They have to be the only two things holding it back from running properly. Carb, rubber clutch drive cog ? plug, coil....all are in good shape and carb squeaky clean. Wow, if I were like Dave and had special tools, then maybe, just maybe a po'boy like me could fix his SHIT. Dave? Where do you work? Can you get me hired there? Seems like it's working out well for you. 🇺🇸😊🔩🛠🔧🔧⚙💸💸💸🏍🏍

OH...exhaust pipe was cleaned too. Not much oil laying in it. I clean it by spraying a little brake cleaner in it and giving it a shake and a tilt to drain it.

I have a brush I bought from Home Depot for cleaning out dryer vents. It’s perfect for scrubbing exhausts. Good luck!
