Thank you, Pastor for these videos. How these point to Jesus Christ: - Jacob believes the lie that Joseph is dead. The Jews today believe the lie that Jesus is dead and not resurrected (Matthew 28:11-15). - Joseph’s brothers sold the first favored child, but come the second time, this time, they had changed and didn’t fail the test. The Jews in Jesus’ first advent denied Him, but there is coming a time when the Jewish people will accept Jesus.

I always thought Joseph gave Benjamin the bigger portion because he favored him. It never occurred to me it was a test to see how the brothers reacted to him being favored. Thanks for that perspective!
