I was gifted one of these about a year ago and have found it to be a really fun camera to use precisely because of its simplicity and light weight. Sometimes, it's a very welcome departure from my other cameras, even my other Minoltas, when I don't need or want to control everything and am not doing paid work. My QTsi does not have the mirror discoloration you mentioned in these videos (thankfully!), but I'll be watching out for that to develop now that I know about it. David, I really appreciate your channel and the videos you have put out, including this one! Regarding the ISO, this camera will remember and use the previous film's ISO setting if you insert a non DX coded film.

I don`t know what reason stays behind but I think the stupidest thing on entry level cameras like this is impossibility to change the ISO.

Same here. I think it was meant to minimize confusion or maximize simplicity for people for whom film speed may have been confusing, but it would have been nice to make it easier to do.

@@DavidHancock I get that, but I personally think everyone can learn in a minute about film speed. But the big companies wouldn't be big companies if they couldn't take something from the user
