The owl inkwell was great. I was way off on low side for all of the items. But, silver always seems to do well over there. Keep up great work! Really enjoy the videos.

LOVE that buckle! Around here alas you can't give buckles away. I guessed 1000-1200 pounds because someone will want the name but it's been polished. (obviously low - but it's a British market item ) The owl? The eyes make it. With any justice in the world it beats its estimate, but I thought about 1000. (100 pounds high) Diamond brooch: The difference between Old cut and new cut is the number of facets, to put it simply. Old cut stones were cut by hand when this was made. I like them better. Looks like the clasp has been replaced at least once. not unusual in a piece that age. It wouldn't take much to make a pendant out of that - just close the unused C clasp already soldered on the back (it just needs pliers) and run a jump ring and chain through it. All done. I was thinking more towards 600-700. Pretty close.
