Telling the truth terrifies Tim, though Tim timidly told "Tim's truth." To those that trust Tim these terrible tales trouble them. Time to tell tantalizing Tim tales, truly "Tall Tales Timmy" teaches thousands the things that traumatize. Tim Tebow told tee-ball teammates that Timmy Tall Tales traveled today, taking the train; Toledo to Toronto. There Timmy told Tom Thibedeau "Timmy's Truth", though Tom tends to trust Timmy the truth that Timmy told Tom troubled Tom, then Tom took Timmy to task.

The few NCOs I served with in RA that went on to pass SFAS and the Q-course as well as being active on an ODA are much more than their ability to fire a weapon. It is something to experience when you've served with someone prior to them earning an 18 series MOS and, years later, catching up with them again. The immediate thing that stands out is their ability to quickly break things down into basic common sense concepts and convey them to others. Take heed people - don't be surprised if you catch up with an old buddy that was an 18E and you find yourself being interested in being a HAM radio operator...lol

Just a note on the "secret valor award" theory. There are instances where the "citation" (or narrative) for an award is Classified. However, even if it is a medal for a classified mission the DD214 will STILL show that the award has been earned. I know this because I served 11 years in JSOC in two special mission units and my boss (not me) had a Distinguished Flying Cross for a classified mission, so we did not talk about the mission outside of the compound, but my boss still wore the ribbon for that medal on his ribbon rack.
@Gladiator19701st15 күн бұрын
SF312 and DD214. Two different things along with NCOERS and OERS that reflect those who serve in Classified missions can have some history to show where they were or what they did. But I know this much, as an Enabler, best to lay low and not throw out there what we did.
@CrisisNCO197115 күн бұрын
@@Gladiator19701st It was my understanding when I was in the "command" that an award that was classified had two wite-ups. One was a classified write up that stayed within the command/SMU and the other was an unclassified version of the original write up. Now, I was Air Force, so this may have been particular to us as our awards went down to San Antonio (AF Personnel Command) as part of our records........especially when competing for E8 and E9. I was a support guy in the two SMUs I was in, so I did not go on classified missions (I was a training specialist), much less "missions" nor were any of my awards while in the command classified. So, I may be wrong.
@Gladiator19701st15 күн бұрын
@@CrisisNCO1971 I failed to read a comment and it was alleged TK's DD214 next to the awards said Classified. I believe Retired Senior Chief Don Shipley had noted stolen valor types would say this about their DD214's. As you likely held a TS - SCI as well as I did, having served as an Enabler was humble enough for me. I didn't do much but my DD214 has awards from my deployment and if you were read on like I was, we don't talk about mission specifics because they are not in the DD214. I misread a fellow commentator post and again, it appeared TK had Classified next to his awards. Never ever seen that in my career.

It’s unacceptable given the fact that he will do an hour long podcast on all things, military and political, claiming the subject matter expert on all things special operations. But you want me to actually believe that Tim doesn’t know the difference between a Bronze star for service versus a Bronze star for valor.
@charlieghague13 күн бұрын
Of course Tim knows these articles and websites are saying he has valor awards. He's the one who gave them that information. Are we supposed to believe ALL these publications just made up the exact same thing? No. They asked Tim for his military credentials and that's what he told them. One of my best friends was posthumously awarded the silver star and then upgraded to a navy cross. So, Tim saying he has these awards really pisses me off.

Blagging is so common in society. It is pervasive on linkedIn. People either amplifying their roles or outright lying. Wasted so much time in the tech world interviewing people with impressive resumes, only for them to be unable to substantiate them in person. With the SF guys there is also an element of TBI that plays into their Blagging. I think they actually believe their amplified stories or lies.

Forgive my ignorance, but the closest I've come to the military was the Virginia Military Institute. Below is the quote from Wikipedia about the Silver Star. I can see how this could be misconstrued. The language he is using, and in the context, suggests that he is merely mentioning that he has a Silver Star FOR valor not necessarily emphasizing WITH valor. Am I reading this wrong? See below the quote from Wikipedia..." "The Silver Star Medal (SSM) is the United States Armed Forces' third-highest military decoration for valor in combat. The Silver Star Medal is awarded primarily to members of the United States Armed Forces for gallantry in action against an enemy of the United States.

Exactly. If you think about it, every medal is awarded FOR valor, but not all of them are issued WITH valor (Device). There are actions that require more valor than others, hence the difference.

I was in a mob'd support unit for the national guard back in 2010 for iraq. We went for training at ft sill, after 3 months, the army started removing soldiers from deploying units due to budget cuts. Me and 50 pther soldiers were kicked off and sent packing, when we out processed on base, the civilian clerks put on our paperwork that we earned certain awards. I told one of the clerks, i never earned these, she put on there. She told me that everyone else is getting them, so why not keep them on there. It was useless to complain to a hire up, the unit leaders were trying to get us processed and sent home quick. I never lied about my awards, I know what I earned.

Not enforceable or they won't enfore it unfortunately. I think ppl who directly PROFIT from either claiming they did something they didn't while in should be charged as well as ppl who never even served doing the same. Unfortunately, it's not something I see anyone being charged with. What happens in some of THESE FRAUD CASES are the defendants are being charged with fraud (varying degrees). I just don't see this ever being enforced. It's been a federal crime for decades now and unfortunately never invoked in criminal proceedings.

Never not once mentioned anything that happened when he was deployed other than meeting my beautiful grandma. I have read Tims book. I paid for the book... I feel decieved now... Keep your stories real please. When the stories are blown up and made up it cheapens everyone elses life service... I know they want to make the big bucks but... It just throws everyone elses stories completely off. Cheers

It seems crazy to me that people misrepresent medals or awards they have earned. All medals come with a citation letter and are recorded in your personal file. This stuff is easily traceable and the quickest way to tarnish your reputation is to misrepresent yourself. I have paperwork on every award that I earned on both active duty and the reserves.

My guess would be that Kennedy started out claiming he has a Silver Star before he realized that's much easier to verify than a BSM/V so he downgraded himself. The Hall of Valor database publishes valor award narratives (they got mine) with emphasis on the top 3. They do have other awards on there, but most of those are from WWII, Vietnam, etc. and there's no distinction on the site between BSM and BSM/V. Kennedy can (and did) get by falsely claiming a BSM/V because it usually takes a DD214 to disprove that, but Silver Stars usually get published, so he would be an even bigger idiot than he already is to claim that one. Also, notice that he often didn't specify which award he got or said "valor awards," which left him open to pick the one that best suited him at the time or to change his tune when required.

Tim Kennedy is the type of guy that joined the military not bc he wished to protect the freedom & liberty of we the ppl; not bc he wished to serve his country, or protect the vulnerable; but bc he wanted to commit violence against others and get paid, trained, and respected for doing it. Tim says, fervently: "I f_ing love violence" - he loves violence when/if he has a significant advantage. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt it. Someone throws up a red flag once or twice, maybe it's nothing. Someone throws up red flags all the time, believe them when they are revealing themselves.

While trying to avoid the trainwreck... I found it interesting that Gen. George C. Marshall came up with the idea for the BSM, because the Army Air Corps had the Air Medal. It was supposed to cheer up the ground combat personnel. It was retro active to December 7, 1941. Perhaps everyone can observe a moment of silence.

You need to contact the author of the USO story as well as Adam Morgan….pretty convenient that all of these stories have the same storyline about medals of valor and that the author added it themselves. Also, you would think after all the uproar the USASOC would validate his/authors claims of valor awards even it was a classified mission. USASOC would only have to state the medals of valor are correct and it was a classified mission without giving any further details.

There's a big difference between saying I was awarded "medals for valor" vs "medals of valor". One is implying I got a Bronze Star for doing something courageous or for actions of valor (probably directly quoting the memo). The other is saying the awards I got have V devices. He knows that and says it that way to imply he got a V device without actually saying he actually got a V device. So those civilians who dont know the difference won't care. It is deceptive and misleading but not stolen valor. Next point he didn't correct people when they say he had a silver star or bronze star with v device. So still misleading and yes stolen valor. Yes he does lie and exaggerates his stories a lot. Look at all the versions of his story of the criminals trying to break into his home and rob him. Happened once and the story is different every time.

That’s a lame excuse for what TK has been doing. Purple Heart paperwork doesn’t “get lost”, valor awards don’t “get lost”. Even jf they don’t make it into your DD214 you show your documentation and it gets added. TK is full of shit, the guys who were with him in his deployment have publicly acknowledged he’s full of shit. The guy craves fame and attention, it’s not hard to see what he’s doing.
