Magee was nowhere near fit.. very far from his full capability.he was smoking outside an hour before the fight..magee drank and had a crazy life in Belfast.natural born fighter..if he had been Half fit he wuda beat Hatton easy....his book is a great read

Having watched McGee a few times at that era. He was actually a good fighter. A good test for Ricky.

Magee was boxing without training so he was just a natural but that's his fault and he f'ing ruined his potential so he lost as well he should have

Draw, Eamon was relying on the Big Shot, and Ricky was making the Fight, So it was given to Ricky. The Referee was a bit to biased in my Opinion. A Fantastic Battle of Wits nothing between them. A Brilliant Match.

Just read Eamon's biography.As good a sports book in terms its honesty,and chaotic life of the man himself. Eamon skills were wasted as a amatuer and if he was of the current time with the HP team that is about and thinking here of John Conlon's top class management skills Eamon might be a Olympian. On the other hand they might throw him out!.. I enjoyed the book.

Round 1 magee but Hatton seemed to recover and started landing damageful body punches Round 2 hatton..dam hatton is fast.... Round 3 hatton Round 4 hatton but McGee making it a tougher round landing on Hatton Round 5 mcgee e close round Round 6 hatton mcgee on back foot Round 7 hatton..mcgee lsnded by the minute mark after being on the backfoot but hatton came back asap Round 8 Hatton Round 10 Hatton but McGee was landing just not Hatton landed more and was making McGee back up all round but was missing more then other rounds so giving credit to McGee aswell Round 11 Hatton Round 12hatton

Hatton was in his prime mcgee was abusing his body alcohol drug a prime McGee would best Hatton with ease
