How epic is this new update! Discount links and promo code in description 🎉 To further explain my points, here are the benefits over GSPro below 👇 1. GSPro is an additional annual subscription. 2. With GSPro you also need to purchase a gaming PC - no app available. 3. Using GSPro has little to no portability being that you need a gaming PC and wifi to run it. Now if you’re primarily based in one fixed sim room, sure GSpro is great, but it’s an expensive exercise to get it setup. In total, you may even be cheaper buying a Skytrak plus and using the new IOS app for course play rather than buying an MLM2pro, gaming PC, GSPro etc. Hence where the new update for the rapsodo mlm2pro definitely makes it the best value for money device on the market.

I finally pulled the trigger and got the mlm2pro last weekend. Set it up and played the native software for 1 day. next day set up gspro. absolute night and day difference. No comparison. im having a blast with it, but there is no chance i would ever choose to play a course on rapsodo software over gspro. and i would only use the range on the rapsodo software to get videos when im practicing. gotta love the title of the video though :D

Hey David, great update indeed. If you use the Rapsodo in the driving range, do you need to use an callaway RPT chrome soft or Prov1 equivalent like indoor?
@nupezb2 ай бұрын
If you are at a physical driving range, you will use range balls. The MLM2 will track the ball to provide a shot shape. You will not get ball spin data, but who cares when you are shooting range balls? You should only use RPT balls when hitting into your net at home.

I think the reaction comes on way strong; actually looking at the graphics. It looks like they caught up to E6 Connect graphics-wise; which is still multiple levels below GSPro. One thing I would be curious about; because it's the real reason I use GSPro over the others is do you know if the update made any of the lie penalties and stuff a bit more nuanced? The real reason I use GSPro is because it's not just a simple calculation as to how much spin and distance a ball should lose based on what part of the course it's on. It's had by far the most data that goes in to what your lie is and how that will affect ball flight (maybe the ball is lower than your feet and launching out to the right for a righty, and you have a flyer lie so you wont get a big distance penalty from that rough. GSPro is the only affordable software I've experience with that has done this to my satisfaction.) I agree, the update is something to be excited for; just like E6 apex is exciting for E6 users, and GSPro V3's update is quite good as well, even if it's more feature focused. But these graphics still don't shake a stick at GSPro and I suspect the quality of in game physics still favors GSPro as well. Also, does GSPro coming out with an update days after this update that has a ton of features specifically for the driving range and practices turn that reaction around and have Rhapsodo now throwing the tantrum? I don't think so, personally. They're products on different levels, and less so in direct competition with one another. I look at Rhapsodo as the class of the entry price tier and GSPro as 3rd party software designed to maximize the potential of people at the entry price or mid price monitors.

I just want to provide a rounded comment here. Firstly good on you for starting the channel and growing it to where you have got it to. Starting a channel takes a lot of guts to put yourself out there and give it a go. Also, what most people don't understand is the amount of effort that then goes into keeping it going. Massive respect you on both points. As someone who has been in and around all aspects of indoor golf since 2010 at a commercial level, I feel I have a sound knowledge base to draw from that I have always kept up to date. I just wish sometimes you would stop making such outlandish claims for products you clearly get a kick back from if someone purchases or maybe products you are paid to talk about. Absolutely you make many valid points in your videos which people need to hear but honestly sometimes it is like watching a novice trying to give a TED Talk about quantum mechanics. Absolutely own this space in the market but really know your subject matter deeply before you say any product is the greatest thing since sliced bread or an update is a "GS Pro killer". 100% understand it's your opinion but the commercial and home market is littered with miss information which would be very confusing for those new to it or not overly informed. Giving your opinion to help people make informed decisions about hardware and software without the bold claims, will see you skyrocket subs wise and gain that respect from those in the community who have the knowledge and experience. Do not take this as insulting comment at all, use it as constructive criticism, keep going as you are doing a good job for the most part.

@@JeremyThompson-iv8te thanks for the comment. I would suggest that through the years of product testing and extensive research into many different products I’ve reviewed that I do have an in depth knowledge of many different launch monitors. The art is to not make it sound like you need a science degree to understand a short video and try to put the main points across in a. Manner than anyone can understand from a user experience point of view. There are people who go into great detail but I like to just keep things simple. With regards to GSpro, it is a great software but my point here is many people taking on the mlm2pro now have a great native options with fantastic graphics as well. Is gspro still an upgrade? Of course but for those who are happy with the rapsodo app they will be able to save that yearly subscription on a third party app. Then in relation to kick backs on commissions I’ve also been very transparent with the audience that if anyone buys a package from 24/7 golf that I receive commissions on that purchase and they also receive a $200 discount. I get nothing from rapsodo in any way. 👍🏼

@@davidmaxfieldgolf I agree with you 100% on your comment. I watched a few of you youtubers to make my decision on what LM I wanted. I was trying to budget build for my 1st Sim build because why spend 15k if I found I never use it! So I purchased the MLM last year and I think the unit is awesome! Now to address what you say about keeping things basic for all users to understand. I can tell you I am 55 and not a computer guy! I want simple! So for me to even get GSpro up and running seemed overwhelming but I found it not so bad. Some people will not even try because it seems complicated or havent a gaming computer etc! So Rapsoto improving this LM to what it is now for the cost is exciting and I join you in that excitement. Many people havent the budget to have multiple subscriptions and that also makes this update great for those players. The Rapsodo courses are auto generated from satellite imagery whereas GSPro courses are custom built by humans spending tens or hundreds of hours fine tuning the details to perfection.
