1/16/2023 The book (and web site) 'Three Cups of Tea' talks about breathing problems at a high altitude. Great book, definitely worth reading. The same goes for the book (and web site) 'We Meant Well' by Van Buren. A parent and child (Alpacas) were bored and went out to explore the freeways of Oakland, California. They were lucky that it was a quiet weekend morning, filmed on a cell phone and made the local fox ktvu news. Please don't race your car, anytime, anywhere, or you might kill a cute Alpaca, or P2 the mountain lion that was trying to survive near the Hollywood sign. About twice a month, a human gets killed in San Francisco (and many other USA cities) just trying to walk across the street!!! Try not to drive behind a Tesla because one recently caused a five car pile up crash on the SF to Oakland Bay Bridge, just all of a sudden, the Tesla car STOPPED!!!! G'Day

Thank ya! You don't really need to be experienced with climbing, but you absolutely need to be in good shape. Fitness will limit you more than skill.

You do not want to be up there during the day when the sun starts melting everything and the crevasses start opening. Being at the summit for sunrise is one of the greatest experiences of my life.
