Even at the age of 86, four years before he passed away, and though he was diagnosed with cancer, David Pawson had been so committed to his ministry and so faithful to the Lord his God.

What a man of God what a teacher since I came across his teachings five yrs ago completely turned my life around Sadly when God is ready to take David home I can’t see the void being filled at this stage His teaching needs to be heard by every person

Mark Phillips I have most of his teaching on cds then mp3s before I realised he was on utube My favourite if there is one is a big one unlocking the bible Then comes simply because most of my Christian life I never heard that divorce was a sin (not the unpardonable sin ) Then leadership is male boy did I find out how controversial that was in charismatic circles Tithing is not New Testament teaching another controversial issue The way he explains revelation simple Boy where do I stop Would the whole church had teachers and preachers like him not afraid to speak openly without fear of reputation or financial gain

Mark Phillips the thing I can’t understand is how serious the teaching is on pre post etc it is only ever going to affect one generation The key to revelation is for the church to prepare for suffering and how to handle suffering and persecution and to be ready not to get caught up in the bowls and seals and all the mystery It’s very refreshing to find someone who comments back about David not just emojis I don’t know when he made this video but I know he’s not long for this world his race is nearly run

Mark Phillips the thing is rev started the moment Christ was caught up to be with His father in heaven and since then people have been trying to predict Hjs second coming But they have all been wrong one thing is for sure everyday is closer to Hjs return It’s not when he returns or what are the signs but are we ready have we been living everyday according to His word As David puts it it’s not about how we would live if we thought He was coming tomorrow But how we would live if we thought He wasn’t coming in our time Everyday we are shown in His word to follow him and that is not being preached in the church as a whole today Justification is widely preached but sanctification is very limited indeed

*Juleen Eyers “Remarriage while your original spouse is alive (if you were their original spouse) is adultery. Repentance requires STOPPING THE SIN and SINNING NO MORE - thus getting out of the adulterous remarriage. We would not say a homosexual marriage is okay if they continue to stay married, neither is an adulterous remarriage okay by staying in it.” This is how God feels about divorce: 'And this is the second thing you do: You cover the altar of the Lord with tears, With weeping and crying; So He does not regard the offering anymore, Nor receive it with goodwill from your hands. Yet you say, “For what reason?” Because the Lord has been witness Between you and the wife of your youth, With whom you have dealt treacherously; Yet she is your companion And your wife by covenant. But did He not make them one, Having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth. “For the Lord God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one’s garment with violence,” Says the Lord of hosts. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously.” You have wearied the Lord with your words; Yet you say, “In what way have we wearied Him? ” In that you say, “Everyone who does evil Is good in the sight of the Lord , And He delights in them,” Or, “Where is the God of justice?” ' Malachi 2:13-17 NKJV Only the book of Matthew contains the "except for fornication" permission to divorce, as only the book of Matthew was specifically written for the Jews and the Jewish culture understood that this "fornication" meant sexual unfaithfulness in the betrothal/engagement period (not after the marriage was consummated by sexual union between the husband and wife). An example of this is shown where Joseph wanted to DIVORCE the mother of Jesus, Mary, before they had consummated their marriage as it appeared that she had been unfaithful as she was pregnant prior to having sex with Joseph. "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together (sexually), she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS." - Matthew 1:18-25 KJV (Jesus speaking) "It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication (the Greek word "porneia"), causeth her to commit adultery (the Greek word "moicheia") and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery." - Matthew 5:31-32 KJV (Jesus speaking) "I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery." - Matthew 19:9 KJV Note no fornication clause in the rest of the gospels, because it was specifically written to the gentiles which did not have the strict betrothal customs like the Jews: (Jesus speaking) "Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery." - Luke 16:18 KJV (Jesus speaking) "And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery." - Mark 10:11-12 KJV The ONLY permission for remarriage is the death of the original spouse: (Paul speaking) "For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man." - Romans 7:2-3 KJV Lastly, abandonment by a spouse does not allow remarriage to another. You must either reconcile or stay unmarried. (Paul speaking) "And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage (to perform the marital duties - this does not allow remarriage) in such cases: but God hath called us to peace. For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?" - 1 Corinthians 7:10-16 KJV John the Baptist took the divorce and remarriage adultery so serious, that he lost his head over it via decapitation by Herod: But when Herod heard, he said, “This is John, whom I beheaded; he has been raised from the dead!” For Herod himself had sent and laid hold of John, and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife; for he had married her. Because John had said to Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.” - Mark 6:16-18 NKJV Of all the laws in the Old Testament, Paul emphasized only four - and abstaining from sexual immorality (which is what remarriage is while your original spouse is alive) is one of them: (Paul speaking) "For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell." - Acts 15:28-29 NKJV Having children in an adulterous remarriage does not make it any less important to exit that adulterous remarriage as shown in Ezra 10 where they the people had to repent (stop being a part of) unlawful marriages, some of which resulted in offspring ("All these had taken pagan wives, and some of them had wives by whom they had children." Ezra 10:44 NKJV). Staying in an adulterous remarriage can take you to hell: (Paul speaking) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor ADULTERERS, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such WERE (note, they did not stay in their sinful acts as repentance requires STOPPING THE SIN) some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. - 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 KJV

Thanks pastor David. I love your teachings they are so expository. I have a question how do we draw a line between the old and the New Testament. For instance circumcision in the old is physical while that of today is of the heart and spiritual. The old is the shadow of things to come while the new.......how can we really differentiate so we’ll be able to live a complete obedient live to God and His word?

At 23:00 David advocates for capital punishment based on the Mosaic law, but I was wondering whether John 8:7-11 makes a difference to his interpretation? The law indicated that the punishment for adultery was the death penalty (Leviticus 20:10, Deuteronomy 22:22-24) and in John 8:7-11 the scribes and Pharisees asked Jesus about stoning adulteress an adulteress according to the Mosaic law. But Jesus did not condemn the woman and instead forgave her. Maybe we should also consider Paul having been a murderer before becoming an apostle of Christ?

I like Davids talks it has been great source of knowledge on many aspects but i have heard another definition of covenant which seems more accurate to me A covenant is more than a mere impersonal contract, in which two parties agree to an exchange of goods and services. A covenant binds persons together beyond the mere contractual agreement. Marriage is a prime example. While marriage has “contractual” elements and promises, it is a covenant that binds two persons together. Marriage obviously binds two persons in a unique way, but all covenants bind persons together in some way. The New Covenant in Christ binds together God to His people with a future promise of redemption. It also binds God’s People to one another (cf. Ephesians 2:11-22). In marriage covenant husband and wife give themselves to each other In the Old Testament God accepts Israel as His people and He agrees to be their God In the new covenant Jesus gave himself up for the people and in return he redeems His people for God I don’t believe covenant has to be between unequals if so it doesn’t define marriage as it should Covenant I understand is an exchange of persons, that is binding two persons as opposed to contract which is an exchange of goods or services

Does that mean that we no longer have to obey the Mosaic Law? Such as the dietary laws and the feast days? If the answer is yes, it is wrong for us to keep those laws and feast days? Please enlighten me. Thank you.

Look at the teaching of David on galatians. The answer is yes, no longer need obey those laws. Its not wrong to keep those days and feasts as much as its not right. Its is wrong however to keep days and feast for righteousness, or in other words it would be wrong to call not keeping these feast sin.

@@joahsprenger Thanks for the reply brother, but in the past two years I've learnt that it is not so. For if the Mosaic laws are no longer in place, that would mean we can commit adultery, steal, kill, dishonour parents and use God's name in vain freely, which cannot be further from the truth. Even though I would not condemn a person for not celebrating God's feast or eating unclean food, but wouldn't it be awesome if the body of believers just come together and celebrate with God at His seven appointed feast throughout the year and please the Lord by obeying what He has commanded His people (which is us) to do. Halleluyah!

I will simply ask where is it written that one commandment is dropped? Chapter verse please. The error in this thinking is that the sabbath is for jews alone. It is not. The sabbath is both a commandment and a foundational truth. It existed prior to any covenants, it it pre jewish, and it was observed by jesus himself, and by God himself, why he wasnt raised until sunday aka the 1 st day, in the entirety of all scripture only the 7th day is authorized and blessed, no other. It is transcends as well as it will exist post end of days. Aa per Gd, the sabbath is eternal and cannot be dropped, changed, switched or forgotten. It certainly is not purely covenant driven, it is foundational.

Abuse in Marriage people say there are gray areas what about abuse well the bible DOES talk about it! Why have we never seen this or our pastors talked about it? 1 Peter 2:18 Slaves, in reverent fear of God SUBMIT yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are HARSH. 19 For it is commendable if someone bears up under the PAIN OF UNJUST SUFFERING because they are conscious of God. 20 But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? I am taken aback by the news of David's cancer... However, I cannot think of a man who as done so much for God's Kingdom, and know that God awaits with either healing or welcoming into his eternal residence. Prayers for you, David. You've changed my life and have set me out for prophethood. Thanks for not bowing to deceptive forms of the Gospel. When I found your ministry, I confirmed the inner voice of God (that had previously convinced me that I was needlessly antagonizing the church).

1 Corinthians 7:10 To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 11 But if she does, she Must Remain Unmarried OR else Be Reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife. Romans 7 By law a married woman is Bound to her husband As Long As He Is Alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him. 3 So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, She IS Called an Adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man Luke 16:18 “Jesus said: Whosoever/anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.” (Greek present continuous tense or state of being)

We need accurate teaching on the whole Bible, and David Pawson is such a great blessing to the Church. Few are enlightening us like he, by God’s grace, is doing. Pray many young people will be raised up to fill the shoes of the likes of our dear brother David.

God Changes the heart!!! It is not your spouse it is the spirits working through them Ephesians 6:10-20. If it is not what is of God it is not finished yet. You continue to speak out with your mouth and declare and decree that she is a proverbs 31 wife of noble character ECT... When it is hopeless praise God! When it looks impossible praise God! Because that is situation He wants to use for his Glory! Do NOT listen to people saying she has her free will and has to want to change!!! Did Jonah have his free will? He ran from God and look what happened! Did Saul have His free will? And who did he become? A new man from a murder to Pual the greatest apostle. Did pharo have his free will and God said HE hardened his heart for His glory! Did king Nebenekanezzar have His free will? And God made him like an animal for 7 years and then God gave him back his mind and he submitted to God! “God moved king Saul’s heart” in 1 Samuel 10:9 and the “valiant men whose heart God had touched” in 1 Sam 10:26. Deuteronomy2:30 God made Sinohn king of Heshbon spirit and heart change for his glory-“The Lord your God has made his spirit stubborn and his heart obstinate in order to give him into your hands, as He has now done.” Jeremiah 24:7 'I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the LORD; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart. Did not God move in in the nation of Israels hearts and put his spirit in them Ezekiel 36 and breath into the dead dry bones in Ezekiel 37? Didn't God move in King Cyrus's heart to let His people go? Ezra 1:5 The the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites-everyone whose heart God had moved!!- prepared to go up and build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem. Didn't Jesus come and bring Lazareth out of the grave when they said if you had of come sooner Jesus he would not have died...He is body is stinking now no hope!!! And THEN Jesus spoke life into him and brought the dead back to life! He is just looking for someone to have the faith to believe what is in the Bible. Will you?

First I think it is important to know you are not fighting your husband. Ephesians says we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities authorities rulers and evil in heavenly realms. This is a spirit affecting your husband. “Our weapons of warfare are not carnal but mighty in pulling down strongholds” Please whatever you do don’t argue with him. The only way you can reach his heart and by pass those spirits is to love him unconditionally. Ask God to give you eyes to see your husband the way He sees him and love him the way He loves him. Next take it to the courts of heaven ask God to forgive you for all your sins renounce them and then intercede on your husbands behalf and ask forgiveness for his sins. Then ask God to remove any generational curses or family spirits. Next declare and decree your husband is a Godly man. That he loves Jesus and pursues righteousness and holiness. That he is a good husband and 1 Corinthians 13;4-8 type of love. Put his name in scriptures. Ask God to remove the veil and scales from his eyes to give him a Damascus road experience like Paul. Believe!!! Have faith!! Believe it is already done! Get rid of all doubt by fasting. God said if you ask of ANYTHING according to His will and and you believe that you have ALREADY RECEIVED IT AND have no doubt in your heart it will be done for you. THANK Him for it like it is already done!!! Anoint your house will oil consecrate it to Jesus! Get rid of all occult objects books movies Halloween stuff. We are children of the light not darkness “what does dark have to do with light and believers have to do with unbelievers or the things of this world”. Fight! You are a child of the most high He loves you and wants this for you even more than you do!!

Hi Michelle - this is Steve on behalf of David Rabbi’s sit to teach.... Jesus sat to teach ....so David sits..... 😀. But the real reason is that David is now 89 years of age and has all but lost the use of his legs - when this video was recorded in 2016? ...David required a wheel chair for anything other than short distances .....so he could not stand to teach

@@Anna-dn3bi HI Michelle - David was asked to speak at a weekend event so yes he spoke on the Saturday and the Sunday . If you are interested David has given a number of teachings on the subject of the Covenants of God : which includes the Old Testament Covenants: The Abrahamic Covenant / The Noahic Covenant/ The Mosaic Covenant/ The David Covenant and then the ''New Covenant ''........ these talks cover the topic of what is the very position of the Sabbath and Christians today
