It's amazing how David Pawson was able to hold so much complex information in his mind and convey it so beautifully without so much as an "erm" or hesitation. A spirit filled preacher if ever there was.

I often wonder how big his brain must be
@RyanWilliamsonJesusIsKing2 жыл бұрын
@@zhuangcorp probably not so much about how big his brain was and more about what he filled it with and meditated on. We should all be the same if you take this scripture literally. About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil. Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. Hebrews 5: 11-14- 6:1-2 ESV

Its interesting how whenever I listen to David Pawson on KZbin, there are always comments where people are tearing to shreds something he said. If you feel you are a better Bible teacher, then set up your own videos online & teach. David always reminds us to check the Bible for ourselves and he never claims infallibility. His desire is to push people to study the Bible for themselves. And for me, that makes him ace! Anyone that encourages me to develop my relationship with God, is not someone I want to tear down....... So if anyone disagrees with his teaching, please go and spend at least 60 hours studying the Bible first, then make a teaching video and put yourself out there. But don't be an armchair critic.......the world already has enough......

Thank you Dinah - well said - at a meeting of Davids Ministry team he once said - ''I do not expect you to agree with everything I teach - I do expect you to respect theses are my views I have formed after 70 years of studying the Bible'' Through studying the Bible David did change views he held as a younger man especially concerning baptism of infants and salvation I challenge anyone to study the bible before criticising Davids teachings - we listen to and trust popular teaching rather than check what the Bible actually says - David put his Trust in the word of GOD .......not people

@mandalorian24684 жыл бұрын
I think in the previous session David explains that when it is translated lamb, it is referring to a sheep that is approximately 1 year old- thus David likes to say ram as it would have been closer to this although still technically a lamb.
@pearlsheelaamin78614 жыл бұрын
That is his own interpretation. When the HOLY SPIRIT in His wisdom told the Word Lamb, it is Lamb only.

Yes, that's what l thought, he just changed God's word, exactly what God warned the reader not to do. That's how the word of God gets changed and causes confusion and you end up with different churches teaching different beliefs, but that is protestism for you, beginning with Martin Luther - no-one to correct them!
@valerieprice17454 ай бұрын
When Jesus "was saying" (implies repeating) "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me...?" He was repeating the Psalm which prophecied the crucifixion. God did not forsake Him, and He could not be separate from the Father, because Jesus was fully God, though He was also fully human.

Does anyone know what version of the Bible David Pawson used?
@DavidPawsonaufDeutschOffiziell Жыл бұрын
New International Version which David affectionally refers to as NIV - Nearly Infallible Version. David grew up reading the King James version but changed to the NIV as he believes it most accurately reflects modern language as its a direct translation from original manuscripts. - the King James Version is all but unreadable to most English speaking believers today King James Version is a great translation - if you understand medieval English. The original meaning of English words change over time - eg today we use the word 'prevent' - means to stop ?...... in medieval times means to 'pre event' ie predict . Peculiar today means weird - but in Medieval times means set apart - ie Gods Peculiar people - are His people belonging to Him ! The New King James Version uses modern language but misses out some key verses ( as does other bibles) but you will find these verses mentioned in the foot notes of the NIV If you are thinking of buying an NIV Bible be careful. David uses the 1984 version In 2002 there were major changes made to make it gender neutral eg "mankind" and "man" were changed to "human beings" and "people"' .... due to many complaints in 2011the NIV was revised back to the 1984 version, so unless you wish to have a gender neutral version look for pre 2002 or later than 2011 versions

Thank you very much for all your work! I have one question: 24:00 - 24:20 minutes you explain about the four corners of the earth. And explain that we know the world is round. But where in the Holy Bible is it written that the earth is round? in the book of Mose in the first chapter of the Holy Bible I read this: Genesis 1:7 King James Version 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. In my old german Bible I read the word: Feste. Which can be explained in English: hard matter or stronghold. I don't read the word firmament in my old german Heilige Schrift. Waters above the firmament. Himmelsfeste is a synonym for Firmament, when I looked it up. I am not YHWH and not Jesus. I am just a singing secretary who knows that in one of the songs called "Don't Let Fear" I received these lyrics from our boss the King Of Kings: Disconnect from the world around. Just be and stay high on level ground."
@DavidPawsonMinistry Жыл бұрын
May I ask do you question whether the earth is round ? You will not find the answer in the Bible for one simple reason - the Bible does not answer the questions 'how' and 'when' ...... the Bible, is Gods word that gives us the answers to the question of 'Who' and 'Why', ...........who Created ....and Why its a book of literature and poetry not a book of mathematics and science The Bible does not say the earth his round ....neither does it say the earth is flat. In writing Genesis, Moses could not have explained how God created because the science was not known in those days and is still being discovered today - Scientists dont have ether answers to every question....yet! Even though they may lead you to believe they do ! The first people to suggest the earth was round was as early as 400 bc but it was not until 1500's was it proposed the Earth revolves around the sun ..... many centuries even millennia after the Bible was written The Bible describes the earth is being at the centre of universe - well it is Spiritually! But its not the geo centre of the Universe and it does not matter whether it is or not The earth is where God sent his only son to die, a sacrifice to pay the price for the penalty sin and that does not contradict the fact it is not astronomically the centre - in Gods eyes its where all that is important to him ...happens - its the centre of his time and love ....but the Earth is not geographically at the centre of the Universe and that does not matter If you ask the question where is the centre of London or the centre of Manhattan - you will find there are many centres: The geographic centre , the Financial Centre and the social centre ... the High Street where everyone meets and everything happens - all three can be described as the centre and they are all there correct depending on your perspective Its like a lot of things in the Bible -we have a choice to believe things in faith - even if you purchase an aircraft ticket and fly right around the world, you still have to trust the pilot, and trust they have not tricked you. We have pictures of the earth taken from space - again we trust they are honest and true ......where are the pictures that show the earth is flat?, and if it is where are the pictures of the edge ?

Jennifer Wise.... yes they are fallible in that they sin and make mistakes. However one needs to rightly divide the word of truth , 2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. That’s not righty dividing the word. He will be held by the lord to a higher standard because he has people listening to him who don’t know and he’s a teacher of the word. James 3:1 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. There are babies in the lord and if they here that what damage will that do to them.

Sounds like the state Adam was in in the garden, before he started calling this thing good and this thing bad according to Laws. The law is now done away as we know the mind of Christ- there is now no condemnation, only love, unconditional forgiveness.
@DavidPawsonMinistry Жыл бұрын
There is no condemnation There is endless love and there is mercy but............ God is also just ...............and forgiveness is not unconditional .........it is conditional .-> upon repentance If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness but what if we do not confess our sins ? We cannot take Gods love for granted and carry on living sinful lives The Bible is quite clear "if we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of Truth - no sacrifice for sins is left" Heb 10:26 God is so merciful - that he loved you and I so much he give his only Son to die as punishment for our sins, but in return he expects us to repent and turn away from sinful ways - Gids Leo and forgiveness ......it is conditional upon us changing our ways

HI This is Steve: These recordings were made in 2002 but may of the charts David used here were used in the talks - Please go to Davids website www.davidpawson.org (Free Downloads tab ) and you can download a free booklet of ''Unlocking the Bible charts and diagrams'' - not all of the pictures are included but many of them are. You can also purchase this book in printed form if you wish - www.davidpawson.com

the feet is the church the north company, carry's the Word of God, but not a Doer nor keeper just carrier, not raised up by Truth the Word is Jesus, every word out of mouth of God! Word; 2 testaments; testifying of Him, Christ said follow His path: He kept the Laws, Sabbaths & feasts! but your traditions are offerings to other gods, does not profit the body but kills the body!

Listen to 4.23 for ten seconds. ‘Lamb’. Not ram. ??

You are correct and David reads "Lamb" in all other verses - I believe this is a genuine slip of the tongue but thank you for pointing it out

I was looking forward to the content of the Book of Revelation - but after over 7 hours of hearing many interesting things ABOUT it, I am now slightly disappointed.. how can the first and second trumpets be dismissed as 'pollution'? Contrary to what's being said in the conference, we are indeed told how these disasters happen and it's through great objects thrown into them. What about them? And how is pollution supposed to destroy one third of the ships of the world?? Then the locusts are clearly described as NOT being real locusts. What about them? Moreover, there is a big difference between the first trumpet (hail and fire from heaven, possibly meteorites) and the first vial (plagues), so a quick statement claiming they describe the same events ought to be at least supported by more sound reasons. It is my impression that this conference is an excellent introduction to the Book of Revelation, but not as good a commentary of it, as it skips the very riddles that have been keeping Bible readers wondering for centuries - and the very reason why many Christians like me have listened to hours of this conference. Anyway, thak you Mr Pawson for your work and may God keep on blessing you.

There are no riddles. These words translated to english, may muddle things, they must be basicly true though. No chance God would allow deception in His word. Especially the very letter he tells you there is a curse on. Remember this was written to believers in a time when education, and doctrinal learning, at best was for very few. The Revelation of Jesus Christ was meant to be understood by simple ( not meant in a derogatory way!! ) people. Father God we ask for strong leading to the simple and precious truth by Holy Spirit. Thank You Jesus.

Manu75 Trex have you heard Derek Prince teach on the end times? We are all humans and it’s by the Spirit we recognise and understand truth in the word. I’ve read books, I have read The Book and listened to many preach on the subject. It’s only when I have inner peace that I believe I’ve heard the truth. God bless you in these surreal times 🙏

@@Judith-jv9wl David Pawson and Derek Prince are both mainstays in my searching and meditating on the Word of God. I am able to mirror what they are teaching in the Word. To many including "pastors or leaders" of the mega churches. Cut and paste verses or portions of verses, to make points. Sadly the point is not contextually correct. Blessings of peace and joy to you and family.

@@Judith-jv9wl I agree with you about having peace within. A month in with David, I was uneasy before finding him, he has a handle on the word that few can reveal of what God intended to be understood. The breadth,length,depth and hiegth leaving no stone unturned. You are there.
