Good morning David. Didn’t know you already went to Japan. I Follow a young lady Meljean Solon who is there now. She stayed one night in a pod for the experience then now in a hotel. This is a cumulative video. Gonna watch and enjoy in increments. No long winded comment as you know it will be ridiculous. 😂. You’re up to eating the snacks you got from 7-11 on the train. Love finger foods. And correct me and my apologies if I’m wrong; Happy Passover. And yes. The hotel is amazing. You’re about to have breakfast. Anyway. Thanks in advance for I’m sure an amazing Vlog/s. I’m back. Am I losing my mind? I see you and the sushi as the thumbnail but I also saw you , a gal and the Food Ranger 🤷🏻‍♀️.

There is a trick to opening onigiri. At one of the points there is a pull tab that will tear the cellophane and then you ‘’clam shell’’ open the package. The rice cake falls into place …. Simple.

Hi David san. I am a local who has just subscribed. You had amazing companions during your stay. Frank san and Bryan san are definitely pros. Their Japanese is super good and they know our culture inside and out. I could see that they made a conscious effort to avoid the touristic places and also accommodated to your taste preferences at the same time. Glad you went to Sunamachi. This place is a great representation of how Japanese high streets used to be 30 years ago. My daughter actually worked for half a day at one of these stores as part of her school project. Pretty sad that these local high streets are dying out every year due to huge shopping malls depriving of their businesses. Oh, and you definitely need to master how to unwrap a convenience store onigiri. It was just so wrong lol :)

You’re unwrapping the onigiri wrong. If you look at it closely, you’ll see 1, 2 & 3. One is at the top and pull it around the rice ball. Then, just pull the sides away, 2 & 3.

Thats such a blessing and yeah, I have always enjoyed traveling and making videos and I feel truly lucky to still be able to do this! That said most of my time is also spent working in my studio for my channel, and being at home with family and friends just relaxing despite the travels! Wishing you peace and blessings K and wow those Morocco vlogs really bring back memories. THANK YOU K!

@@DavidsbeenhereLove watching you explore Japan & the rest of the world in your videos David Can't help laughing, as I'm watching your friend Frank delicately eating his ramen, then it's over to David who picks up nearly half the bowl of noodles on his chopsicks & in one go you pretty well shovel it all into your mouth like you're competing in some crazy Ramen noodle eating competition😅 Reminds me of how my eldest son eats...just smashes in as fast as possible, splattering juice all over the place, but really enjoying his food! A crazy sight to behold for those of us watching though! Take care & keep up the great work with making vids for us to enjoy, thanks David! 😊❤

Konnichiwa and arigato David. Thank you so much for showing this doc. on Tokyo. I actually chose this one because I was really excited to see it and I was not disappointed. I thought India was overcrowded but Tokyo is right up there with it's large crowds too. The city is so clean and the food looked so delicious, although I will pass on anything raw. In Toronto,we have masala noodle packs in the grocery. I especially loved the ramen noodles. It's a really beautiful city. They really take politeness and privacy seriously, something we need in North America. It looked very complicated to get around especially if you don't know the language. I think I would get lost😂😂😂. That bullet train is something else. WOW!!! Did you actually feel the speed of the train? There was so much to see and you did a very good job on this one. I enjoyed it very much. Once again, domo arigato. To you and your family I wish you all a blessed Easter Sunday.🙏😇💕🐰🇹🇹🇨🇦. Sayonara.

Life changed for me and my opportunity came and I didn’t pass that up. Japan was great while I was there but I really loved bangkok and similar to you in japan, Thailand was my place. Been studying it since 9th grade, learned the language by reading and using google. First time I went there people thought I had been there long time and say I speak very well. That was cool. But hey you keep doing it man. Have fun. Good content.

David u need to look up the manners in other cultures. A lot of what u did at the Japanese breakfast at the first hotel was very bad manners. From touching the staff to over pouring soy sauce on ur fish (they see this as waste) and the stating its salty when ur the one that poured all that soy sauce to make it salty. Then pouring soy sauce on rice is not good practice in Japan. U also were stabbing ur food with ur chop sticks and that’s not a good manner either. Please research or have a guide because I know this isn’t the norm for ur culture but it’s different in other cultures 😊

The cool thing about Japanese food is that it may look like a lot but because its in small plates/bowls/pots even, the focus is on tastiness and variety! 80% of the food is very low caloric. In comparison a extra large pizza with extra cheese and full toppings is probably more than double the calories David ate in this entire video. The Japanese really have mastered the art of food on every level. Full respect to them!

I only please have one little critic, please eat more neatly, do not over stuff your mouth or over mix your food like a toddler. As your channel is a bigger one, it may be worth investing a little into an etiquette coach on table manners. Example when you were with Frank from 5am ramen observe how he was eating. He was clearly enjoying himself, yet he was not guzzling his food and overstuffing his mouth. Just a friendly suggestion. Cheers xxx

May sound like a hater but just my opinion. I’m glad you love the food but I hope you learned on to actually eat Japanese food. The proper way. Certain things you do to actually enjoy the flavor of the food. I mean food is food. As long as you’re happy and it’s good it shouldn’t be complicated but I think eating Japanese food you should follow the essential ways of eating their food. Just to follow their culture and showing the respects to the restaurants and chefs.

Just came back from Japan. Japan is the cleanest country in the world. People are so disciplined when it comes to sanitation and waste segregation.

42:05 This is not SAKE.It’s SHOCHU made by barley or botato. Most Japanese people drink it mixed with sparkling water or tea.

David always complains especially when he is doing a colab😂😂 you do food content and every time he does a food tour after the 2nd spot he starts to complain 😂😂and he doesn't realize how offensive he can sound...no one wants one of their countries national sweet to be compared to slime 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣

I would hate to have someone watch me the entire time I eat. I think he was being nice about some of the food and didn’t actually like it.
