I won't lie, as soon as you said 'too much batter', I perked up. I *love* batter, so anything that has 'too much batter' generally has just the right amount for me. That beef pie definitely inspired me though. I've been meaning to make more types of meals for my dad, and it's been far too long since I made a beef pie.

The Tempura Crab Claw from Lawson's is a beautiful crispy, very thin battered moist piece of the King Crab. That tidbit(ok large tidbit!) looked absolutely perfect, stunning.. 😊 And there were so many good choices how can you pick a fave?? But out of all these, the Wagyu Beef places were the most delectable - especially the last 3 restaurants. Tho a couple along the way were quite tempting as well... Oh Mike Chen - you are living your best life and mine. 😊🎉😎🎉😅

Some of the videos were really well done. And watching them a 2nd time made me see just how much worked he puts into each video. I know he doesn't always have someone helping. ❤

Salty, earthy, a bit fishy (but not bad fishy). Think fish sauce or Bonito flakes. Msg too.
