Well getting overwhelmed by seeing the love and devotion for god and humanity and for nature in general at Harimandir Sahab ( Golden Temple) is very normal thing, when you step in that very periphery of the Harimandir Sahab complex a person gets overawed with the positive energy of that god's abode, all the time Kirtan (live musical verses written about god's Grace) are played on the sound system, there are screens present in English with translation from Gurmukhi language to tell you the meaning of what is being sung in Kirtan. You see people from all over the world there and to truly see their humbleness at that place and see the love for each other and of Sikh community alongwith all other people of different cultures and religions working together as volunteers just for feeding 100000 humans a day at langar and in general is amazing and getting emotional is very normal thing. I try to visit Harimandir Sahab atleast twice a year and every time I cleanse my soul whenever I pay my obeisance there to the Guru and listen to Kirtan, tears automatically roll down when I get submerged deep into spiritual aura of Darbaar Sahab. It is said by several people that they feel more light and energetic after visiting Golden Temple and yes they do cry and get their souls cleaned, not because of any pain but due to something amazing that one feels there which cannot be explained in words.

Dude, that is my favorite episode I've ever watched on your channel. You captured the entire experience so well with the storytelling and visuals but even more so with the raw emotions. To think that all are welcome, everyone is equal and nobody leaves hungry is truly special. There is an energy you feel at the Golden Temple that reminds of us of our true nature. I feel really fortunate I had the chance to experience it with you and Deepak. I'll never forget it as long as I live.

This place is very sacred. 5th Sikh Guru (prophet) has spent most of his life here. Thousands of beloved saint soldiers had died on this sacred ground throughout the history for the love of God, freedom and humanity in general. That's the only reason we feel some divine vibes here. I couldn't stop crying until I was inside the Darbar saheb. It doesn't matter how much you know about Sikhi, It gives everyone unbelievable goosebumps. I didn't see a single person who didn't get emotional with some divine love. This place is full of bliss. Must visit to have this unworldly experience. You will love it more if you start learning about this belief. Stay blessed my brother 🙌

This is my favorite video you've ever done, David. Ever since I was little, I've always believed that everyone is equal, no matter who they are. And to see a place that embraces and embodies that idea is quite powerful. Just watching you and Deepak talk about it as you ate was emotional, but then the ending where you were overcome with emotion had me full-on crying, man. I can't even imagine what it must have been like to visit such a beautiful place where that is the prevailing message. Not only are you an incredible vlogger/filmmaker/travel expert, you're also an outstanding human being. It's videos like this that remind me why I fell in love with learning about the world around me when I was a kid. And it reminds me why I love your channel so much. Thank you for sharing this video with us. I hope it inspires others as much as it inspired me.

By far one of the best videos. The emotion you felt was the accumulated effect of being stripped of everything worldly and engulfed with humbleness, true love, and serenity. Not many people get that feeling but those who do have very pure hearts and minds. When you sit and dine as an equal with thousands knowing that millions have sat here before you and will sit there after you, you realize how we are all but the same people able to coexist at the same level. Our world today has killed that yet luckily places like the Golden Temple help remind those lucky to visit it. ❤️❤️❤️

@rav9681

@@hamitkhakh5238 I disagree. Sikhi gives you complete instructions and tools on how to achieve that. Left to their own devices very few have achieved that state of being you speak of, everyone has the capacity for reaching spirituality but how will that be unlocked? For example anyone has the capacity to increase their fitness and build a muscular shredded physique but left to their own devices very rarely do you see someone achieve this, they in most if not all cases have to follow some kind of instruction manual, regiment which in a lot of cases is being delegated by a fitness instructor (a guru for lack of a better term) and even provides supplements to aid their journey, just like the Guru provides direct access to spirituality with information and instructions and even provides supplements to aid you such as 5 kakkars, langar, kirtan, simran, shastar vidya etc

A lot of ppl don't know that one of the rules of served food to qualify as langar is that it has to be non stop. You'll be served until you're FULL. Not when you get 1 serving. With langar, you'll be offered food 2,3,4 times until you say enough. It's so yummy !

This place is very sacred. 5th Sikh Guru spent most of his life here.

Shri is used before a male name in Hindi language (Like Mister in English). Shri means prosperity, it has no religious concept. Jai Shri is eq to 'His HIghness' in Hindi and Hinduism. Jai is used to hail a respectful person. Hence only figures that have an emotional religious spiritual spot for Hindus are given a prefix of Jai Shri. We don't go around calling random figures/people as Jai Shri.

@@Breastfeedingtips123 Again, that is the teaching of islam = to destroy other faiths, but they failed to do it in india as they did not have the manpower to do it. They did not fail in many other places. India was too big, and the locals resorted to tricks that the muslims did not clearly understand. Still most temples in north india were razed to the ground, many were infact dismantled and their material used to build mosques, like jama jasjids (Udaipur etc). This stupid logic is too popular with islamist That since muslims ruled in india for some time but they failed to convert all indians so islam is accepting of other faiths. IT IS NOT. islam doe not say preach peacefully, mahaMAD did ot do that, nor did his followers, history is evidence of that. OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE. The inscription on the gates of quwat e islam mosque in Delhi (qutub minar) can be read by anybody. mahaMAD was not like buddha or jesus or krishna who were sworn to nonviolence and only preached peacefully with out any army or threats or even deception and tricks. mahaMAD was a war criminal and did genocides well recorded in proud islamic texts, and we all can read them . There are many ancient temples in india where muslims were unable to conquer, like south india. And many temples were destroyed, and then rebuilt. Even where some escaped total destruction, the idols and faces were defaced and mutilated. That does not show islam gives much importance to peaceful preaching or "to you your religion, to my religion", rather it say eliminate other faiths and their temples symbols books and preachers teachers. mahaMAD destroyed idols of other faiths in Kaba temple. That is setting the example for all muslims what to do.

🤚not cried but I almost got tears in my eyes .I am Hindu but living in Punjab and I love Sikhism very much when initially I read about the sacrifices of Sikhs(chaar sahibzadaa) to protect the religion I got very emotional and I read about many others lives sacrifices like bhai taaru Singh G, Shri guru teg bhadur G, how 10th guru G sacrifices his all son for religion . 😭😭 But I felt very angry about mugul sutaan how cruel they are they took life of two small sahibzaadas
