i was at the 2022 indy 500. i was switching between teams on the radio most of the race but after jimmy crashed i locked the radio to marcus. Listening to the end of the race was something i will never forget.... all the dialog that went on until he got out of the car was amazing. what his engineer said to him on the last lap and when he won was very emotional. I loved him mentioning him screaming i remember it cutting out but i heard a good majority of it. that is what solidified me as a marcus ericsson fan. i still remember chatting with him and Iris when they were drawing quali order for the 500. they both just hung out talking to the fans the entire time. they are both very down to earth, humble and have a good sense of humor
