I love them too. One of the few $100 cans I just enjoy listening to. Big sound, phat bass, fun and a nice sparkle too. They provide good clear sparkle. They have good separation too. Comfort is amazing. I usually hate 100 dollar cans but these are really really fun. Sivga did a great job with these.

I have these and like them regardless of the sound issues. They are fun. I would never recommend them as someone’s only headphone. But they make a good addition for me having multiple headphones. I don’t break them out often but when I do it’s usually for listening to hip hop or EDM.

I am new to the headphone game after years of using basic buds. I first got the sundara which I do enjoy but almost sound to clinical. Still listen to them but picked up these up few months back after other reviewers calling these fun. I do enjoy them a lot for classic rock and electronic music. Comfort wise for me they blow away the sundara and have enough sound isolation to block out the noise in my environment and because they are cheaper I take these on road trips. In your review I was pretty much inline with your comments but when something is fun it is just plain fun and at 150 and butterscotch wood color who can pass these up. I think the darker wood probably won’t sound as fun;).

Once again great take Dave. Some sets are just oddly fun...I think of these in the same was as the Meze 99 Classics. Not technically good, just fun. I actually run them through a Xduoo 604 and for whatever reason the tubes play well with them to my ears. My set up is PC to Fiio KA3 to XDuoo 604. Of course this set up is an absolute dream with higher end sets, but I find myself using the sivgas too much.

I like them as well, to me they are kinda like the closed-back version of the Fidelio X3s, they have a similar peak in the treble, but their bass is less controlled and can become boomy with some material. The X3s definitely are more sophisticated. I am pretty treble sensitive, but luckily these peaks, similar to the X3s, are in that particular frequency range my ears don't mind that much. And the sibilance isn't hard edged and glary, it generally is a soft extended sssss. But of course I like the Sivgas, just as I like other weird, far from "neutral" tuned headphones like the NightHawks and NightOwls. Maybe neutrality is overrated? LOL. My ears at least have no trouble adjusting and set their signature as the new, temporary "neutral"

I actually really hate the pads on the RHODE hp and really love the pads on the SV021. I only wore them for a few seconds and then had to take them off. The RHODE's pads were really stiff and itchy while the SV021's pads were smooth and really comfortable. I did a demo at a store for the RHODE and got the SV021 for a review where I ended up buying them just for the comfort alone as a fun closed back pair

@D-generon3 ай бұрын
Well, I beg to disagree about Rode NTH-100. They are the reason why I am forced to try some new headphones, including Sivga Robin SV021. NTH-100 are dull AF and sound clarity isn't about them. Their sound signature overall is BS and they were one of the most disappointing pairs of cans in terms of sound in the last few years - almost as bad as Audio-Technica ATH-M30x, which are like the most basic over-ear cans you can get. Don't know what kind of accuracy in terms of frequency response and sound reproduction you can get with NTH-100, since they often fail to reproduce what's actually in the mix, pushing some frequencies forward whilst dropping more interesting frequencies too far back. When you go from NTH-100 to something that does reproduce higher mids and highs properly (like my custom-built planars or Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 or even HD650 with their slight veil), it feels like a breath of fresh air everytime. Haven't heard Sivga yet, but hope they'll (finally!) replace NTH-100 as my portable daily drivers. P.S. The only thing Rode NTH-100 are good at is falling asleep in, since they are comfortable on the head and they are also one of most inoffensive cans in the treble region.
