@@MasterMarslander I definitely am enjoying them. I find the audio performance impressive. To my ears it has a relaxed but somehow fast and detailed response. Only gripe I have with it is the lower mids sound slightly recessed. 8.9/10.

I have these headphones I asboutly love them.i got them pair up to a LG v40 phone n Douk amp they straight up Rock for $150 they r hard to beat.

I've watched a few reviews of these and there is obviously a significant unit variance even taking into account various reviewers preferences

@@adrianmorrish8494 A variance in quality control? Interesting. I haven't heard too much about that, but I wouldn't be all too surprised. This isn't Sivga's first time up to bat, but they still have plenty of room to learn.

@@MasterMarslander reason I say this is there are very mixed and contradictory reviews on thee,your review is more inline with others I would normally place trust I, several reviewers have mentioned sibilance in S region say 4-6k, couple have said very bright highs some are saying rolled off etc. I think overall if these are driven from a very Bright analytical source then they are going to be sibilant, good review and thanks.

Hey man, I've enjoyed a few of your headphone videos now. You're pretty good at giving a solid overview of a headphone and describing build, comfort and sound. If you ever wanted to, I think you could gain a decent following by coming up with a more organized review format for these videos. Perhaps also by investing in a few different camera views to cycle through while you're doing your review (face cam as you have now, an overhead cam for when going over build, etc). Maybe format the review into sections and do some time stamps. I think you'd have some really good headphone reviews. Your talking style is chill and easy to listen to and understand. Anyway, hope you're enjoying it and that you start getting a few more followers. :)

Thank you so very much for your kind words! I have been giving thought to dipping into more equipment so I can have more of those elements you have suggested. At the moment, all of these highlights are done on live stream as a little break in whatever game I'm playing. Because of that they're not particularly formatted to anything and I don't have any scripts to work off of. It is all very candid. That being said, you are absolutely right. I have been giving some thought to putting together a separate series of reviews - branded, edited, polished - some time soon down the road for the YT channel. I know these candid highlights can be pretty long and redundant, so hopefully this other series can rectify some of that. We'll see!

Hello, i have a question Do you think its better to buy these and then a dac (like the red dragonfly) so i can have a « better » sound and so i can use the dac with other headphones that i have and also having a « better » sound on them or just buying more expensive and « better » headphone then these for like 300€ ? Wich is the double. Sorry if my question doesn’t really make sense English is not my first language. Thanks if you respond to my questions.

Your English is fantastic! The Sivga are very easy to drive and can be enjoyable on just about any device, so you do not necessarily need a standalone DAC to enjoy them. Getting a standalone DAC like a Dragonfly or any well received desktop DAC would benefit you, but with something like the Sivga the difference would be negligible.

Thanks for your videos, I wanted to ask you if you recommend any dac amp for its use, or is it completely unnecessary?

The Sivgas are pretty easy to drive, so you might not necessarily need an amp/dac to run them. That being said, they do benefit from it. If you're on a budget and haven't looked into dac and amps before, then I recommend the Schiit Fulla. Great beginner dac/amp combo. The Schiit Hel would be a step up from that, or even better a Schiit Magni + and Modi + stack.

I have another questions maybe i missed the part were you were talking about it. But do you think that these are great headphones for like taking the bus, walking in the street, and other loudly places or they are better for staying at home ?

They offer pretty decent passive noise isolation, so I think they would be perfectly suitable for most semi-noisy environments. They do not have active noise canceling however so don't expect them to drown out very loud environments.

About sound.....prity much, like you describe a Yamaha as 701, 801...ore 10000 amplifire sound signiture. Full body, relaxed...wide...a lot of details, Maybe a bit "lasy" about dinamics In all......realy good for a most of us And not compleatly perfect for some ..hard core audiophils Most important...not fatiging in sound ore comfort Good price.. Nice review. One question: Did the balanced cable make a difference worth exploring? I should receive my headset tomorrow and will look for a shorter, balanced cable if it is a worthwhile substitution. Which cable did you use or recommend? Thanks.

More often than not a balance cable will offer an increase in volume, but not a whole lot else. There are some exceptions, but for these I do not notice anything substantial. Maybe slightly more 'fullness' but that very well might be placebo. My go-to for custom cables are Hartaudio and Periapt cables. The cable I'm using in the video is from Periapt.

Hello one last question. When you listen to music loudly with the sivga do people can hear your music ?

Sivgas are a closed back headphone, and have pretty good isolation, so you would have to be really blasting your music for anyone to hear what you're listening to.

Betwin these and the meze 99 neo wich one do you think is better for the isolation cuz i heard that the meze weren’t good for outside ?

Meze 99 do not have as good isolation. The pads on the Meze 99 are not as plush and sealed. You could always try and swap the pads though.

Yes. A much fuller, well rounded sound.

I love these headphones as well and yes, my 49 years old ears find them overall smooth and unfatiguing. But be warned: objectively they are not smooth at all. Those treble spikes at 5-6K and 7-8K are a reality and I clearly hear them as moderately edgy when coming from a more neutral pair of headphones like the HD650s or in fact most every other pair of headphones I own. Luckily there is no hardness or glare, but treble sensitive people may have a hard time with them. So again, be warned :)

@@MasterMarslander Crinacle measured them. They measure like shouty treble cannons with a Raycon-sized bass. At least... that's how they measure. Strange.

I haven't heard the MSR7B so I can't comment on that, but as for the Meze 99s - It has a similar sound signature, but the Mezes have more sophistication in the sound. You can easily enjoy music with either, but the Mezes offer a more mature and characteristic sound.

@@onlyspace9813 if both were on a table for me to chose from, I'd take the Meze 99s. Keep in mind though, the Meze 99 are double the cost.
