I miss guides too. Just bought one for Dirge of Cerberus. The ones for JRPGs are obviously the most helpful but I like using them as much as possible. Now they only make guides if the devs go out of their way to hire a company to do so like Elden Ring with Future Press Publishing.

Your undying love for overworld maps is worth the sub alone. I absolutely love overworld maps because of the old school feel of them but it really magnifies the globe trotting adventures of the games. They make the game worlds just seem big.

It's actually a pretty common practice it seems, even moreso with light novels. I think one of my favorite titles (though it's a manga) is something like "Reincarnated as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon". Just let your imagination work on that one. 😂 Like.... what?

More copies of the Expedition 33 LE going live WHILE you're recording was hilarious xD I'm glad you managed to snag a copy, though. And Sony making sure the current release of Dragoon is in good shape is interesting. I'm hoping since they're under new leadership that we can take it as a positive sign. Oh, and a really cool thing about the Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection: a lot of the games featured here are being released in English for the first time! Due to the delay on localization times for the cards and TV show back then, a lot of the late 90s games (for Game Boy Color, etc) were completely skipped outside of Japan. I'm a pretty big fan of the series, especially the classic era, so this release has me excited

David On a side note in the Land of Ys I seen early listings on Play Asia for Ys: Proud Nordics and Ys :Memories of Celceta for the Switch. Both are listed as preorders opening soon. Both being in Japanese language also. Y: Memories of Celceta I love to see Xseed bring here to the Switch soon not two years later like The Oath In Felghana game. Love to see Ys Chronicles brought to the modern consoles made add voices in it to. Just a thought.

I pre-ordered Expedition 33 on Steam right after the Xbox Developer Direct. Congrats on being able to order a collector's edition, though personally I have little interest in those - I think the last time I bought a collector's edition it was Morrowind, and I probably either bought it by mistake or couldn't find any non-collectors copies in stock at Fry's at the time. Kamibako looks kinda cool, I might try the demo soon.

Gasped at little cartoon show and card game for Yu-gi-oh, I was obsessed with it growing up 🤣 I feel so behind on the trails games with these releases, I was told to beat Trails to Azure before I tackle cold steel 3 and it's been such a slog trying to get through 😭

There are far less Xbox systems out there, so it's not surprising less collector's editions would be sold. Funnily enough, I feel that'll make physical Xbox games much more rare in the future for collectors. It's why I bought Baldur's Gate 3 CE for Xbox even though I don't have one

The physical copies of Fuga being sold in Japan will apparently be multilingual like the western release is, so they should play pretty much the same. CyberConnect2 still doesn't have proper international distribution set up for their self publishing yet, so I figured this is how they'd approach the physical release for these games. Though they are doing international shipping, via World Shopping, through their store and the games and the collector's edition is also on Play Asia. Amazon Japan also has the games, but not the collectors edition so far. The only thing that kind of sucks about this release is that each game will have a novel that comes with it and those won't be translated for this physical release. They probably will eventually be translated and put on Amazon Kindle and as DLC for the Steam release like they've been doing with the Manga though. That could be a good while after this last game comes out though as they're taking their sweet time translating the manga.

@@davidvinc Yep. Still it's cool they're giving Fuga the same multimedia treatment they gave .hack back in the day albeit there isn't an anime to go along with it. Maybe they can get TriF studio to do that for them since they helped them out with their Mechanical Arms anime. The Little Tail Bronx series deserved an anime since Tail Concerto, but just never got one. Whereas .hack got 3 anime, 2 OVAs, and 2 movies. I hope their future self published games can get proper international physical distribution.

It was disheartening that you couldn't use the dragoon forms cuz it froze your game most of the time, u got really lucky if during story parts that transformed u it didn't freeze, the group special transformation was the worst you were guaranteed a freeze on that one. So im glad these things have been fixed, I did end up grabbing graces f maybe I'll finish dragoon after graces f
