Speaking of Why not a remastered release of ALL Growlanser... with a readjust to the time travel system so games 1-5 are all intercompatible so in game 1 characters from 2-5 can be pulled and all throughout each game can pull from the other games. HD2.5 rerelease for overworld travel in some and updated 3D models for all that apply. Loved games 2 and 3 that I could play but 1/4/5 had no chance but did look good. For a QoL have an in game guide to character collection. That way you can check to see how to collect each character as soon as they are seen. The Guide could also hint at hidden dungeons and such so you know where and when for all events for sake of completing. Those 2 options would make it nice. Only other thing is if during character creation detailed stat effect for each option is listed. So educated decisions can be made for people that mid max.

BoF3 is a jazzy masterpiece and (for me) the peak of the series. Beginning is a bit slow but just makes the growth feel more impactful. Also wish the master system was more obvious like BoF4

I would just be happy to get a Breath of Fire collection. A new game would also be amazing. Provided it's a real game and not a half-@$$ed mobile gacha. I can't believe Trails in the Sky is already 20 years old. That doesn't sound right. I'd be okay with a fairly straight port over a remake. Kind of like Trails from Zero/to Azure. Basically, I'm down for any ports of older JRPGs being made available. I bought the Sega Genesis Collections for my Playstation just because of Phantasy Star and Shining Force. QoL updates would be nice, but I'm also okay with just ports. As long as I can legally play them. Lunar needs to be made available for all modern platforms. Everyone should have access to those phenomenal classics!

I'm so happy to see that Breath of Fire 3 (and Breath of Fire as a whole) is still loved by the fans. Breath of Fire 3 is my favorite game of all time and the peak of the series. Thanks to this poll I have renewed hope that Breath of Fire will return. While I'm not getting my hopes up too much for a new game (especially since I'm still sore about that mobile garbage game that dared to call itself Breath of Fire 6), I would, however, love a remaster of the games. Especially Breath of Fire 3. At the very least I would like the games to get the Trials of Mana treatment: same story/characters, upgraded graphics/mechanics/character models. If we could get at least that I can die happy knowing that my favorite series got the love it long deserves. Capcom, relight the fire that is Breath of Fire and allow the Brood to rise once again!

However WITH SOME of the Dragon quest 9 and 10 spells ADDED INTO the DQ3 remake ie Heal More (better then Mid heal but restores less HP then FULL heal) instead of the White/Black Mages needing around 40 lvs to learn their FINAL spells in the remake it may take 20 MORE lvs. While you CAN use the Metal slimes in the tower north of Alltrades Abby/Dharma temple to easily hit lv 40 from lv 20 gaining ANOTHER 20 lvs can easily take like 20 to 30 hours OR more even if the Jester/Gadabout STILL learns and uses Whistle at class lv 13.

Wether that's a collection or a full remaster, doesn't matter. Same goes for four(except the psp bit), hell even Dragon Quarter. ALUNDRA!!!! Rerelease, remaster, or a new sequel. It's the only Zelda game better than Adventure of Link. Mostly because it has a jump button as well. And the puzzles!! Spent hours on some of them. Speaking of collections, we have now how many versions River City Ransom and its spin-offs, successors, and sequels, where the hell is Goemon? I know they're seperate game company products but Kunio has two sequels starring his girlfriend yet the blue haired Mystical Ninja and his friend who can't trim his sideburns can't get some kind of collection or at least a release! Sorry. Tangential rant got the better of me. I love River City Girls by the way. Pretty much most of Wayforward's library is awesome. Which is why Echoes of Wisdom surprised me. Crapcom, give us a pixel remaster version collection of Breath of Fire 1, 2, 3 and 4 already sheesh! It won't get me to stop callin you guys crapcom since you ruined Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 with your crappy remake version instead of keeping building a better version of the original like RE1 did with RE1 remaster. I really hope the Switch version of Rivera: The Promoised Land comes to America someday. I am really interested in the game. I don't want to play it on PC. Plus this was a GBA game originally, a Nintendo system, so for me, it would make so much more sense to play it on Switch. Anyways, I can't believe there is so much going on for the Summer! Vay with Working Designs voice acting? That's incredibly interesting. From various inside sources I have heard for the last several years that Vic Ireland asks a lot for any of their old games that feature voice acting, and that being one the primary reason the Lunars weren't on the Genesis Mini 2. Having said that, back in the day in the 90s, I often talked with one of the Shirley Brothers of WD and I know of two games that were canceled for the TurboGrafx-CD. To this very day, I still wonder if we'll ever get to see these unreleased games. Maybe Vay being re-released is a good sign? According to him, they were completely finished, and are really really well done, apparently by the original design teams. I'd like to say these two games are RPGs(such as Cosmic Fantasy 3)but they are not. They are both fighting games. World Heroes 1 using the TurboGrafx 3.0/Super CD card, & King of the Monsters 2 using the Arcade system card. Like I said, according to him, they were done by the original teams that made them for Neo Geo, and they turned out great! He told me King of the Monsters 2 was originally for the TG Super CD card, but they had to move development to the arcade card because of the tremendous amount of detail and frames of animation.. I'd love to say Cosmic Fantasy 3 was also finished, but from everything I can track, it never got started because of various financial problems Telenet was having at the time. However, it's always possible that there are some other games that were finished or maybe halfway finished back then that he didn't tell me about. And I happen to know that they definitely wanted to work on bringing over the first Cosmic Fantasy,, but it sounded to me like they never actually started work on that. Of course, the Cosmic Fantasy series is getting released completely in English from Edia on the Switch, so at least we have that. Though all of it I believe is subtitled rather than having Working Designs voice acting included. Either way, that's pretty exciting that there's going to be a modern release of Vay. I never got around to beating that one back in the day, and I hope it leads to more games that WD published being ported to modern consoles!

I would laugh if Vay's hard mode was just the Working Designs localization, and regular mode was the original Japanese version; I cut my teeth on the original Dragon Warrior, and I still found it WAY too grindy, though I did love it otherwise. Kind of weird that that's the one they're bringing back, too; that's a much deeper cut than, say, Lunar.

Vic Ireland owner of working designs owns the u.s. English rights to the lunar games and won't let them be released unless a good chunk of change is offered. Sega tried to get lunar 1 & 2 Sega CD versions on the genesis classic 2 but Vic wanted more money than the $5,000 flat fee Sega was willing to pay licensees,sadly.

also Daybreak 2 is likely releasing in 2025, cos there's been a 2 year Pattern. Daybreak I was revealed in 2022, and releases next month, Daybreak 2 was well revealed in 2023, so 2025 release, Kai No kiseki was announced this year, so 2026 release.

Who doesn't want to see Working Designs games on steam? ME. Don't get me wrong I love those games but I want them to get an actual re release. I'm not paying real money to download games off the internet. Super psyched that Capcom noticed all the love for Breath of Fire and happy for you getting to do a panel for a con.

I noticed that the Vs Capcom series was right below the Breath of Fire series in popularity. This is interesting ebcause the MArvel vs Capcom series is gettign a rerelease and rumorsare that the Capcom vs SNK series may also get one. I wonder if they'll release a Breath of Fire series collection too.

After BoF 5 and "6" I have no faith for a new BoF, I wouldn't mind a remastering of 1-3 and maybe 4 but honestly 4 looks great as is.

I never played Vay, but maybe this means we’ll get a good Lunar remake soon. There have been lots of ports over the years, but the last really good one was SSSC on the PS1.

Not gonna hold my Breath of Fire coming back, tbh. BOF 6 proved that they had no ifea what to do next with the franchise after 4. Not every series need to come back.
