Hi I have Question. I've been interested in practicing Wing Chun at Home. But due to the pandemic and limited resources I can't purchase a Wing Chun Dummy. Is there any substitutes you suggest to replace the dummy?

Thank you David. This brings back a lot of memories. I started practicing Wing Chun at the age of 12. I decided to learn martial arts because even at an early age i was already getting into a lot of street fights and i'm just a small guy even now. Too young right ...lol i know. I guess you can say i lived in a tough neiborhood. My knowledge and skills in Wing Chun has help me through those difficult times as i was growing up. Namaste.

As a JKD teacher I teach Wing Chun heavily because its roots are in WC and you can see them in all of Bruce Lee's movies. You did a great job showing and explaining moves. Congrats!

David I haven't seen a chi sao video. Can you do a video when you teach chi sao? Chi sao is the most important course training in Wing Chun. Chi sao helps to develop reflex action.

I'm only 13 and want to learn wing chun from home because no wing chun in area I've always really liked it and I quit taekwondo because they moved far away is it possible to learn at home?
@DarkAristocrat7 ай бұрын
Yes. It is possible. But eventually, once you master the basic forms, you're gonna have to find an instructor to expand your knowledge. Also, if possible, acquire a wooden dummy so you won't have to find a sparring partner every time
