just a big thank you Davie for prescribing some excellent patterns for Scottish lochs. This particular pattern being the most successful. I found the topping dyed hot orange just had the advantage. Really loved Scotland. might have to move there!

Very good enjoyed that as with all your vids, could never understand why rough fishing flies always work when the naturals aren’t rough, don’t think trout are that fussy, I’ve caught fish on your March brown regardless of the hatch from March to September, size 14 March brown with oval gold tinsel covers every hatch in my experience, anyway love your work and thanks again 👍🏻

Davie, thanks for the quick response. Afraid that broken fingers and poor eyesight have reduced my skill level. Concentrating now on Intruders, Spey, steelhead and large saltwater flies. Thanks again. We still need to get you over here sometime....believe it or not, with the right time of year you can get albacore, black rockfish, salmon, sea run cutthroat, and rather large trout. Maybe even some nice capes to use on your videos. Best.

Wow, it's great to have you back. I been going through Davie withdrawals for about 2 weeks. I started listening to BBC news just so I could hear the accent. OK, really, I'm kidding, but I do look forward to each fly.
