Classic fly! Like how you think the eyes not being exactly perpendicular to the fly shank matters. You are a professional for sure.

Excellent bugginess Davie! I love your patterns like this. The lifecycle dubbing is nice, I got some when I got my slf prism dispensers. Thanks for all the tips on colors and materials you use. I learn all the aspects of this craft from watching and listening to you, as well as reading all the comments. Your the most generous "master" of this art I've come across. Many thanks.. all the very best to you...

Hey Davie, another nice looking fly the caddis Pupa. I have tied several similar and find them excellent, rougher the better imo. Did you say natural seals fur for body dubbing there , that's what I use lots of very common in this area, great videos you make and luv them. cheers

Hi hunt4fish, I have tyed many of these with S.F but it's good as well to have a few tyed with a very good sub. I've also tyed a few with possum as it also helps to keep the fly up that little bit higher if needed..I'm glad you liked the fly.. All the very best Davie...

Hi Davie, John here, are you still tying for Sandy long time since we used to repair your cars. Always new that you would become one of the best. Need to catch up for a coffee sometime.

Hi John, It has been a while since we said hello you should drop by when you first get a chance...It's been a couple of years too even more since Sandy was round as well, he had just started a new job, it would be nice to say hello to him as well and catch up... All the very best Davie...

Davie do you put some Gink on this fly? Or do you try and fish it as a nymph?
@DavieMcPhail7 жыл бұрын
Hi Colbee, You can do either as you know this will allow it to fish at the right depth to cover the feeding fish..The friend that fishes them prefers to fish them very close to the bank and in shallow water.. All the very best Davie..
