Hi, I know I’m sort of late. But what if I wanted to use fitted jeans instead of oversized? Would the design still work?

Yes but keep your seam allowance in mind so there arent too tight. And if u want them to be fitted pants you will need a zipper and most likely darts in your waist bands. Follow me on ig @greenwear_designs. I have a highlight on my page of all the bandana looks I have done. One is fitted pants

Look At the width of one bandana. Take your waist and define it by four. The bandana should be large with extra room. Because elastic will be place in the waist band to bring to ur waist...... if 1/4 of your waist is larger than a bandana width. You will need to sew 4 bandanas together in a square shape. 4 times. And then cut your pattern

I say no. Bandanas are just cotton at the end of the day. It’s not a cultural things to most black people. I sometimes connect them to gangs. But every race can be in a gang. Not just black or Latino

1) take waist band off 2) sew 4 bandanas togethers in the same color order as your pants. If u didn’t multicolor 3) cut the now long stripe of 4 bandana into a piece as wide as needed to go over ur bum. Maybe like 5 inches. 4) add the extended piece on top half of pants like a waist band but don’t fold over like a casing 5) add waist band back on 6) if still lost dm me on ig @greenwear_designs.
