I've always scored rounds by just asking myself at the end of the round "who woukd I have rather been in that round" and giving it to that person and it seems to work pretty well and kind of encompasses everything (punch power, accuracy, energy expenditure, defense, etc.). I think some of the issues come from people over-complicating it by trying to strictly follow the guidelines for how rounds shoukd be scored when they are too vague.

Maybe harsh but isn’t it mad that since 2018-2019 welterweight has slowly become one of the weakest divisions in boxing, quite similar to middleweight actually. The older generation retired or moved on, people moved up from welterweight. Porter, Thurman (inactive), Spence (inactive & past it). Ugas, Garcia etc etc. Same with Middleweight, BJS, Canelo, GGG, Jacobs.
