The fact is that Tom was developing feelings for Rose, when Davina left it didn’t take him long to get over her and quickly became romantically involved with Rose, he didn’t have the affair but his feelings were elsewhere It’s exactly like with Lorna and Izzie, realistically he’s not a setting down type, he’s married to the school

tom said he discussed it with davina but didn't, he told rose he told davina it was because of a loan shark and wanted her to lie about it, even though he just lied to rose about what he said to davina. it's not the fact that he told davina, it's the fact that he originally said the reason would be kept between them, told davina, and then lied to rose about it and made rose lie about it too. he absolutely did something wrong.

11:53 I'll never forgive the show for making Tom clean shaven in the later seasons. He looks so cute with his stubble. I know it was supposed to be part of him not looking after himself properly after Izzie died but they kept it for so long and he just looked so good.
