I got so frustrated with trying to learn how to use I quit making videos all together. your simple explanation and demonstration of the controls and functions have been an inspiration to me and I will start to edit my videos again. I'm new with DaVinci, currently working with Version 18, but my viewer does not change to the splitscreen, when I use the trim - or dynamictrim mode! - Please do you have any advice to solve the problem?? - That would help me a lot and stop me from having another sleepless night! Great video! One question, before I upgraded to 18.5 I used to be able to split videos in the middle of clips. Any idea how to preform this now?

Yes. I actually added "S" as a keyboard shortcut for this function though. Pressing two keys for such a heavily-used action is a bit cumbersome!
