I think what you were referring to is the caution about engagement. You cannot engage the transfer case while driving down the road.

If you load that vehicle down to it's maximim GVWR of 26,000 pounds and then park it in the bed of my Oshkosh MTVR, I'd still have several tons of cargo capacity left over.
