I own a 1987 Chevrolet Silverado R10 single cab short bed It’s fully loaded much like a today LTZ package hood emblem power everything big brakes sway bar front etc etc. Out of 10 pickups I own she is my favorite. Grandpa special 😅 im 73yrs old and my grandpops special is my 73 GMC high sierra 4x4 step side factory 4spd and one ton running gear since 77 , running on 40s that i bought New in 74 and Still is my daily driver ! And now Retired i flat tow my rig behind my MH and wheel all over the Western states , and i Don't mall crawl like u boys do 😅

Almost perfect truck. Ditch the toolbox, the running boards, and install a bed liner and those drop down steps, done. Worked at a grocery store when I was a kid. My boss bought a brand new 87, automatic with a blue and gray paint job. Parked it outside the store and someone stole the tailgate the first day! 😂. He was not a happy camper.

One year only for the half ton this body style with fuel injection definitely a rare one, but to have a four speed on top of it. It’s pretty cool.

Oh no, watch out .... Someone will complain about it having a gun rack. I personally love the 4 speed and gun rack. Glad that i have a short bed single cab 4 x 4 Express. Short beds are the best .

Wow what a beautiful truck 🔥 my first truck same year same color Long bed auto shft mine didn't have the chrome threw the middle or around the tailights side markers and wheel wells. may have been an upgrade by owner? Looks a lot like a Silverado on the outside minus the chrome on the backside of the cab with the Chevy emblems! amazing find!!!

@DavisDrives I worked at midway Chevrolet in Sunbury NC when they were new. Compared to the 305 carb trucks felt like it accelerated like a corvette . 86 was also 1 year only. 1 piece rear main and carb. Try finding a one piece seal block with mechanical fuel pump.

@@DavisDrives it also has the wonderful world, renowned tilt steering access to the ignition switch nothing faster when you’re in a hurry a prisoner escaped from jail. All he had was a butter knife. He was able to take a blazer with a tilt steering the same thing with a butter knifeso even if you get a deal on it, you’re gonna lose it and the insurance probably won’t give you all the money you paid for it back so make sure you don’t leave that vehicle once you leave your garage.
