Great selection of reptiles. The croc lizards and horned mountains are amazing but quite pricey. Croc lizards will guard their nests and babies, they’re great parents.

Love the educational aspect of the store, where the people who own and work in the store are knowledgeable, passionate hobbyists themselves; so lovely to see as we become more conscious with keeping our pet friends.

Wow. Having adult animals on display to show to potential customers what adults look like is a new “must have” standard I didn’t know I would have. That’s fantastic.

I'm so happy to see you in my home state! I live two hours south of Denver and Aurora in a town called Pueblo. Every time I get to come to Denver to see my people up there (I'm originally from Aurora, not even five miles from that store!) I ALWAYS make sure to visit this store! Also the Vietnamese restaurant right next door to Nature Box Pet has excellent Boba drinks!

It's funny the Calabar python goes by "boa" and the Mexican Burrowing Python is more related to Sunbeam snakes (tho apparently is related to true pythons quite closely too) lol it's a messy phylogeny/common name situation. Awesome snakes all around!

As someone who had to move with aquariums a finished setup intimidates me way more than starting with an empty one. Also wildtype angelfish are so underated. I recently got the rio nanay local and in my opinion non off the morphs can compare to them. Same can be said for santa isabel and manacapuru local. The shape off these even looks so wildly different to the typical angelfish.

@davkaufmansreptileadventures I tried, but it said I needed 30 subscribers. So I Uploaded a couple shorts. I have more recordings. I should upload though. I bought a Herman's tortoise because I didn't see the red foots until after. They were hidden amongst a bunch of boas. So I thought the guy only had boas, so I looked at it afterwards. I also bought a blue eyed morph of African house snake. I've never heard of it before, but I'm also gonna pick up a hypermelonistic next month from the same people. So I haven't all black on you as well So I'll have an old black one as well. But this blue eye one looks pretty cool. It's like a paler version of a normal and it's got nice silver eyes with red pupils. Almost like a ghost.

Just bought a blue eye African house snake and a Herman's tortoise and then did a loop around. Didn't see the tourist. I was looking for so that's why I got the hermans and there's no my third round going around. I see a bunch of the red foots. I wanted, so I'm so upset. But I'm hoping the one I want doesn't sell and I'll pick him up next month.

ooh, chameleons are tough, not the chameleons themselves, but you know. Seems kinda risky for a shop to take on chams other than veileds or panthers, or maybe furcifer lateralis. Why'd you have to bring that one out Dave, with its sunken casque and eyes😢

Its literally no bigger than any other store in Denver... Sadd....
@freedomospeech818012 күн бұрын
The owner talks about showing people how big some reptiles really gets right at the time he shows the adult blue tongue skink in an inappropriate enclosure that barely gives it enough space to turn around in” with an inappropriate hide it can never truly even use! truly sad living conditions😢” it needs to be in at least a 5x2x2 enclosure with lots of humidity and extra large hides and at least two hides one on warm and cooler side. As someone who has two blue tongue skinks a northern and a merauke it truly breaks my heart to see these wonderful animals being abused like this..

One thing I will say is… I got a Lily white from this store and she has a severe neurological issue. I inquired about who the breeder is and if they breed Lily white x Lily white. They would not give me information or apologize at all. She is okay but small and has issues. I have mixed feelings about the store and where they source animals
@User-qm3ho3 ай бұрын
I paid a good amount of money for her as a baby. Now she is pet only and needs a small enclosure so she doesn’t get hurt. It’s just strange to me

They also refused to get me in contact with the owner about the issue after promising. Sorry to vent on here but nobody has promoted this store before
