The berdies live like in the wild. They can do whatever they want they can choose what to do and what they want and can exibit all natural behaviors. In my opinion every keeper who dont give thier animal the ability to exiibit all natural behaviors is cruel. All animals in captivity should have a right to that. That is keeping animals corretly, give them the freedom to choise and exibit all thier natural behavior and dint be caged and restricted by lasy humans.

@@theregalreptile3953Thank You! I also am looking for a uromastyx breeder that is good. I am a Mom of a big family who only keep lizards as pets for the last 30 years. We lost our 15+ year old uro ( she was a rescue we had for nearly 12 years too) before Christmas. We also have 3 other nearly 12 year old pet lizards. We chose to buy more lizards to get some younger ones and now have our original 3 and 3 new ones bought in the last few weeks, so we are trying to round out our scaly babies with 1-2 more. We really spoil our pets and they are like family. My goal is to buy all the new ones around the same time frame to keep them closer in age. We also took the opportunity to redo the entire reptile room area and their individual homes a few weeks ago. We have already set up another new home for our next baby, and likely will set up another new home, bringing our total pet count to 8. But with 3 of them up in age, eventually we will end up with 5. 😥 But, with weather and this pandemic we are having a hard time finding new lizards.

I'm surprised they are making it so well outdoors without perfect heat etc. Everyone freaks out like they'll die if the first little things off. These don't even have heat lamps thought it is warm in Florida they do have cold spells and eguanas will fall out of the trees so just makes me wonder how well this setup works. I love the burrowing and egg box.
@eliasrodriguez45073 жыл бұрын
Well, when they’re growing, they certainly need ideal conditions. Evolution doesn’t care if 100 die and one survives. When they’re adults I’m sure they are more resistant to “un-ideal” conditions. Just looking at color variation, it’s easy to tell that their color will have huge affects on sunbathing, vitamin D absorption, etc. I think the best thing they do is that they build the enclosures to allow the dragons to decide what they want. Choice is everything, with people and animals of all shapes and sizes
@VincentStevenStudio3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I've learned quite alot about this. When researching for my new baby I'm like freaking out making sure everything is perfect but now I have some relief like everything doesnt have to be perfect. My dragon can still thrive. As a Floridian my biggest worry was humidity but seeing that I added ample ventilation to my enclosure I shouldnt worry so much.

I know natural light is best for them, fresh air and the option of sand, a hide, a cover and mulch is awesome along with the branches aso..... It's just me I guess I watch too much Lord Elion who frequently gives his bearded dragons baths and they love it ❤ They look so fresh & so clean 😍 But good idea to keep them outside like that, especially if it works for them. Saves a lot of money on UVA/UVI bulbs 💡 I'm surprised they don't have heat mats in there, cause Slinky Kamp Kenan's monitors almost died cause he got out of his hide during the cold snap in Florida. So maybe bearded dragons aren't as delicate as we may think?

Nice video Dav. Its to bad views on beardies are like marmite. I was just curious if they get any sand mites or sand fleas? I must say that viewers seem to put to much investment into over thinking dragon care. Having viewed all of the comments, I am surprised no one mentioned how beardies like to use water to poop in. Nice to see more reds over there. I was surprised how much they go for over there. Hopefully that will discourage so many impulse buyers. You did your part to show they are happy.
